"It was a long, stormy night and as the trees swayed a shadow lurked in the shadows. The slow wind picked up the loose leaves and tossed them afar into the treacherous mountains on the other side. A young innocent girl was walking down an abandoned alleyway on her way home and came across a small wooden hut. As the shadow drew near a shiver went down the girls spine. The child reached for the door handle. Click! But was pulled inside before a word was said. Slam! Went the door. As she turned the shadow jumped out and absorbs all her life source. She now rests in peace." Ava ended.
"That was a great ghost story Ava, who's next?" Jordan asked.
"Me!" Riley screamed.
"What time is it?"Harper yawned.
"Um, one fifty seven"Jordan said.
"Wow it's nearly two in the morning. Anyone else tired?"Ava asked, after a wide strech.
"I could stay up a bit longer" Riley said with a sinister glare, influencing others to do the same.
"OK, what should we do?" Ava said, wanting answers.
"Pillow Fight!" Harper shouted from the side of the room, clutching a pillow.
Each of the girls jumped up and grabbed a big, fluffy pillow. Harper was a sweet young girl with a big personality and the ideal friend for anyone the age of fourteen. She had long blonde hair tied up in a messy bun, bright blue eyes and wore purple smooth, silky pyjama bottoms and a matching white top. Jordan had long brown straight hair with brown eyes and wore blue pyjama bottoms and a pastel pink vest top- she was the sensible one in the group. Riley had here hair dyed a light brown to blonde and had blue-green eyes. She wore white leggings and a blue top that said Love, Dream, Hope on the front and 'Riley' on the back in white. Ava had rich chestnut brown hair in two braids and had hazel eyes. She was the leader in the group and wore a pink llama t'shirt and blue stripy shorts with a thin blanket made from all shades of brown around her shoulders.
Once everyone had jumped onto the king sized bed, Ava announced...
"This is no battle but a war. The rules are: you can use as many pillows as you like, by doing this you may win. Number two, you can not purposely aim for someone in particular- Harper." Ave was saying glancing over to Harper with a big smile on her face trying to hold in the laughter. "Number three, you can not join forces to beat the enemy." She said making her voice a tone deeper."Number four, to eliminate others you must either take away their weapons so they are defenceless or make them walk the plank (off the bed) but you must not cause any harm to anyone. But lastly number five, have fun!"
"Into your positions!" Jordan declared. Harper was on the top right, Ava was on the bottom right, Riley was on the bottom left and Jordan was on the top left. "Go!" Jordan shouted.
Harper was the first to move and hit Riley on the legs making her slip and fall onto the bed. Getting her revenge she saw a pillow get tossed into the air towards Jordan so she grabbed it making Harper defenceless. She was easily out in seconds after that. "Help me!" She said with her arm up, sliding off the bed.
Ava had joined in the fight and hit Jordan down but she made an agile recovery. Riley had gotten up and swung her fuzzy pillow into Ava's arm. Ava quickly turned towards her, she slowly approched her making her walk backwards towards the edge. "You will now walk the plank!" Ava announced.
"Not if you do first." Said a voice behind her. Before Ava could so anything, she was walking closer and closer to the edge of the bed and eventually fell off and joined Harper on the sidelines. It was all up to Jordan and Riley on the head to head combat. Riley had sneaked up on Jordan and pulled her down by her feet and started tickling her- a barrel of laughter crept in. Everyone started laughing and Jordan finally surrendered to Riley making her the ultimate champion. Riley waved her arms in the air and started posing for the pictures Harper was taking. A sudden choke came across Riley and she fell to the ground. Everyone ran across to see her. "At least she is on the bed" Harper said trying to make a positive about the situation. Everyone stared at her making her feel bad."Quick call the ambulance."Ava shouted.
"Whats their number?" Harper asked, in a panic.
"Seriously, from all the lessons in school and posters put up everywhere you don't know!" Jordan shouted at her.
"Oh yeah" Harper had realised and was now typing in the number into her phone. Waiting for them to pick up Ava said out of the blue"I like your phone case. I like how the blue background goes so well with the white sequins floating around in the water."
"Aw thanks" Harper replied. "Oh, their there. Yeah hello... Our friend just passed out on our bed and we need an ambulance." There was a long pause. "Oh well we were having a sleepover, as you do, and after playing a game she just collapsed. Yeah... Yeah. Well we are not sure if she has any medical history. Um... What is the address?" She asked covering the phone with the palm of her hand.
"56 Hankingson Close" Ava whispered to her.
"56 Hankingsons Close. Yes, oh thank you." Harper replied and put the phone down. "They'll be here in five minutes."
A sigh of relief came across because it could of been much worse. Once they heard the siren, they all jumped to their feet and ran to the door. They opened the door and a medical team stepped in. Ava's mother(Charlotte) came running down the stairs in a panic after being in a deep sleep. "What's happening? Are you alright?" She asked to Ava, checking her all around.
"I'm fine. Its Riley. She passed out after our little pillow fight. At least she won." Ava said, failing to reassure her mother.
"I'd better call her mother."Charlotte said in disbelief.
"I hope she's alright." Jordan said, worried.
"Yeah, she was probably over tired. We should probably get to bed." Harper yawned."It is wow four in the morning!" She said checking her phone. "My battery is about to die. Do you have a plug socket in your room?"
"Yeah" Ava said, walking up the stairs, yawning all the way. "Yeah..."
