Prologue

"Juuzou!!" Someone screamed very loudly. 

I was hiding in this pond by our kingdom that is located deep, deep in a special part of the woods. I blew bubbles in the water and stuck my head up from the water. I wonder who was calling my name? I looked around and saw two figures standing dead center in the woods shouting, "UBI ES!? UBI ES!?" *Where are you! (We use the Latin language).

My name is Juuzou, I was 12 at the time I was hiding in that pound. It was my favourite place to be. I even built small water forts, me and other kids would even play tag here all the time. I've visited this pond since I was very young, like when I was 5. Those people are my parents...Well, us as a civilization, everyone raises all the kids together as one, all putting effort. But those two people were my actual parents. I let out a small squeak to get their attention.

They both turned around and saw me in the water and ran over and my dad said, "Quid agis !? Terrebis nos !! Nos postulo ut nunc!"*What are you doing!? You scared us!! We need to go now! My mother picked me up quickly and ran as my dad snarled at something from behind us and followed us quickly.

 "Mammam, Pater! Quare?" *Mommy, Daddy! Why? I screeched at them. Neither of them replied and I just stayed quiet after that..They seemed more distressed than normal..

We arrived at the place where we lived and ran straight to a castle..Everyone looked distressed and worried and were all near the castle-like building. I squeaked and snuggled up into my mother more. My father was talking to many of them showing a list and giving them handfuls of things. He then shapeshifted into a fox form and let out a huge howl and then turned back. He screamed, "Omnes! Omnes! Debemus pugnare off eos !! DEINDE decertarent ut domum nostram! Habemus praesidio Kids!" *Everyone! Everyone! We must fight them off!! WE MUST FIGHT TO KEEP OUR HOME. WE HAVE TO PROTECT THE KIDS! 

Everyone all howled with him. I looked over at one of the younger kids, Ruby, he look confused more than scared like me..He probably doesn't understand..I mean who would, he was so young. I was too, but I could understand what was going on. There was some kind of danger that we were all afraid of. I'm afraid of what will happen..The adults hide most of the kids and I grabbed a few of them and made them come to the pond and go under. Including..That kid named Ruby.
