Hello to you all sexy potatoes! If you're reading this, I'm glad you've gotten this far.
-------------------------------------------------------
I was in a dark room. My hands were strapped behind my back and I had a piece of cloth in between my teeth that kept me from forming a coherent sentence. Beads of sweat formed on my forehead and I could feel my hair sticking to my face. All I could feel was panic. My feet were trembling, my hands shaking; I tried to scream but it came out more like a muffled groan.
My eyes wandered around trying to make of my surroundings but there was nothing.
I heard footsteps coming from my right and I turned my head so quickly that I'm surprised I didn't get whiplash.
The lights came on and I blinked furiously trying to adjust my eyes to the streak of light from above me.
"Hello Stephanie," I recognized that voice. But I didn't know from where.
I backed up into the wall as much as I could, hoping that it would just swallow me up.
He was a tall handsome man with broad shoulders and long lean legs. His hands were in his jean pockets, but I couldn't see his face.
It was blurred, but I was able to make out some features from where I was sitting. Strong, set jawline, full pink lips, narrow bridged nose, green eyes and black hair. I tried to blink. I tried to get a better view of who this man was and what he was doing.
His fingers were rough on my skin as he pulled the cloth from my mouth.
"Who are you?" I asked with a shaky voice.
When I looked up, his face was much clearer and I gasped at how incredibly handsome he was. His green eyes popped with the dark lashes surrounding his eyes and I could see a stubble growing on his chin.
"It'll only take a while for you to figure out," his green orbs shone like marbles.
"Where am I? Why am I here? What do you want with me?" I could feel the tears build up but I refused to let them fall.
"You're in the Santos's original house," he told me calmly while making his way over to a chair in front of me that I failed to notice before.
Santos... As in Max Santos? This can't be right.
"What do you mean?" I asked him, my voice stronger then before.
"I mean that this is where it all started." He said and I stared at him intently. My breaths were uneven and the hairs on the back of my neck stood up. I don't know why, but even though he was handsome, his eyes held some kind of darkness to them.
"You see, you're not who you think you are. Your entire life has been a lie. Your parents aren't who you thought they were. Even your younger brother doesn't know who he is." His mouth shifted into a smirk.
My head was spinning. His words weren't making sense and I was positive that my heart would jump out of my chest any second now.
I didn't respond, I just stared at him. His green orbs were tracing my body. I was shaking again. Not because he made uncomfortable, but because I was angry.
I was stuck in room with a man that I have
never met in my life. My hands were tied behind my back, it was hot, my ass was hurting from sitting on the floor too much, and I wasn't getting any answers from the prick in front of me. Instead, he was speaking in riddles.
"Let me out." Every word I spoke was laced with venom and it was all directed at him, but he seemed unfazed.
"Not until I explain why you're here."
