I arrived at the office with just a 5 minute walk , I texted jack to tell him where I was and he was on his way

" Goodmorning Ivory " Andrea the secretary at the welcome desk said

" Morning Andrea ! I'm here to see my father , he called " I told her

" Oh yes just go up to the regular floor and Jason will tell you from there " she told me handing me my name tag

Before I decided to go to the ladies room and freshen up

Five minutes later I was riding the elevator by myself

I walked into the 27th floor , the top floor

I got goodmornings and smiles from everyone I passed

" I've been expecting you , you're late " Jason said . Jason is my uncle , fathers brother

" Sorry I know , I was in the ladies room" I told him

" Don't worry , explain to your father , c'mon " he said walking towards a meeting room .

" Sorry about that gentlemen " uncle Jason said

" Ivory ! why are you late ? and where's jack ? " My dad said in the most rude and angry but smooth tone

" Yes I know I'm late ! but I have a good explanation daddy , and oh jack dropped me off he will be here any minute " I said giving him a smile

" Ok I thought jack wasn't with you . You know I don't like you unprotected " my dad said

" Anyways goodmorning to you too dad " I told him hugging him

" And goodmorning to the rest of you " i said turning around to the other men in the room but then I saw him, Xavier Campbell . He notice me and went wide eye and I just quickly looked away and met a pair of green eyes similar to mines

" Is everything okay Ivory ? you seem paler than usual " Ivan my oldest brother asked

" Very funny idiot " I told him

I went to go take a seat when my phone started to ring

" Hello ?" I said

" Ivory hang up " my dad said

" Dad hold up it's rob "

Rob was my dance instructor

" What ! Really ! Oh my gosh Robert I love you omg thank you thank you "

" No need to thank me it was all you Ivory now I need you here at 12 " he told me

I glanced at my watch an it was a 9:15

" Ok thanks darling I'll see you there " I hunged up

" Ivory! first you take a call and then you scream ! for heaven sakes! " my dad said

Everyone laughed

" Dad chill ! Oh my gosh guess what !!?" I squealed

" I got the part !" I told him

" Well good for you Ivory ! but now sit "

" Aren't you happy for me ?" I told him giving him a frown

" Ivory you know dance isn't a career forever"

" Dad don't be rude and unpleasant! I'm happy for you " my middle brother Isaac told me

" Thank you " I told him and he got up and hugged me

" I think we should go out and celebrate your good news correct boys ?" Uncle Jason said
