A Fresh Start

*beep beep*

"Oh god! She's already here?! I texted her to be here at 1:00pm and it's only 12:28pm. WHAT THE HECK."

I just cannot believe Nicole already arrived here. I want to get angry at her, but at the same time I also want to get angry at her...you know? At least, I'm done packing my stuff because I'm not gonna live under the same roof as my parents anymore (same applies to Nicole) I'll live in an apartment now together with my best friend! To be honest, I'm actually excited. I'll still miss my parents though, but I can visit them from time to time.

I took my all of my stuff from my room and rushed down the stairs to say goodbye to my parents. I hugged both of them tightly and I noticed tears started to fall from my eyes.

"I'll miss you so much."

"Don't forget to give us a call or a text okay? Be safe.", said my mom while sobbing.

"I can't cry right now you know, but if you'll have any relationship with someone, please inform us. We'd love to meet that person who made our daughter's heart flutter.", my dad said.

"Of course! Hopefully I find someone though. It's hard finding a soulmate these days you know. See you guys!! I love you!"

I ran to Nicole's car and put my stuff in the back seat. Then, I went to the passenger's seat. (obviously)

"What took you so damn long, Emma?"

"What do you mean? Huh? What time is it?"

"12:40pm"

"C'MON IT WASN'T THAT LONG RIGHT?"

"Pffffft... it's fiiiine. I was just listening to some music in the radio to kill time, I guess. Wait, where are we going again?"

"Are you fucking serious right now? To the apartment! Geeeez."

"What's the address agai- OH. I remember it now. You texted it to me yesterday."

"Yeeey, I'm glad your brain is working!! Don't worry, I still love you though"

"Awwww, I love me too. I better start driving now"

When she said "I love me too", that kinda triggered me. I was expecting another sentence from her you know. I'll just let it slide for now.

Well, we are off to a great start here.
