The water amplified the force of the bombs. The ship was blown apart upon impact and below-zero water flooded into the cockpit. Tears fell from the mans face, and his lungs sparked as he struggled to breathe. He was sinking farther under the ice - he could barely see the sun anymore. The water was moving farther up his body and, as the blood mixed with water, his vision blurred. Pain shot through his legs as his veins froze, and his mind screamed as water covered his mouth. Of course he could barely tell, could barely bring himself to care. His head felt fuzzy from when he hit it on impact-and he know he was going to die but all he could think was,
