Mike x Reader Part 2

Your vision was met with a head of blonde hair. You felt yourself chuckle tiredly as the man groaned slightly at you.

"Sorry," he muttered, trying to pull away as you rested your hand on his head, running your fingers through his hair.

"It's fine. You can stay," you whispered tiredly as Mike let out a breath of relief and laid his head back on your chest as it rose and fell gently.

Mike found himself smiling slightly as he closed his eyes gently, listening to your breath and heart rate as it lulled him to sleep.

"So, are you gonna sniff this guy too?" you asked as you walked with Mike to the jail cells under Sinas' only courtroom.

"You know he will, (Y/N)!" Hanji laughed as you looked at Mike, who shrugged slightly, causing you to laugh. Of course, he would sniff the boy, it was his thing!

You stopped when you arrived at the jail cell with Mike and Hanji. You stood beside the taller blonde as you both watch Hanji practically force her face through the bars.

"One of these days," you muttered as Mike nodded his head in agreement. You both knew Hanji would wind up in some kind of trouble one day. Honestly, you were banking on her getting a body part stuck in something just... not a Titan.

You stood straight as the brunette haired boy that sat in a cell was released into your custody. You offered a small, gentle, friendly smile to the brunette as he offered a nervous one.

As soon as you started to escort him, Mike started to sniff at the boy, who moved away, effectively bumping into you. You shot a glare at Mike, who shrugged in response.

"This is Mike, he's extremely strong but he has a habit of sniffing people," Hanji explained as the brunette nodded once and turned to you as you smiled.

"I'm (Y/N), you don't get used to his sniffing," you stated as the brunette gave you a confused look as Mike sniffed you. Unbeknownst to the brunette, it was more because Mike actually liked the smell of you and not because he wanted to 'assess' you.

"What do you think will happen in there?" you asked as you sat with Mike outside the courthouse. Everyone was preoccupying themselves with something or other. You were ordered to keep watch outside the courthouse with Mike. Luckily, there were only a few other Military Police outside and the rest of the Survey Corps were ordered to stay at Headquarters.

"I'm sure everyone is hoping we get custody of Eren," Mike answered as you hummed and nodded your head.

"Wouldn't be too bad. I mean, a Titan fighting on our side, as crazy as it sounds," you replied with a chuckle as Mike nodded his head.

"It does sound completely crazy," the blonde agreed as you yawned and stretched.

"I can't wait to get back to the barracks," you spoke without a second thought.

"Why? So you can find out who made Squad Leader?" Mike asked as he smirked slightly towards you. You scoffed, rolling your eyes at the man.

"I swear, if I make Squad Leader you still won't get rid of me," you replied as Mike looked at you with a confused look.

"No one's trying to get rid of you, (Y/N). You're far too much fun to be without," Mike stated as you looked at him in with a slightly confused look. You weren't aware you were so much fun.

"Flattery will get you nowhere," you spoke as the blonde chuckled slightly. You grinned as the two of you went back to waiting for the trial to end.
