Operation M.I.A: Missing in Action (IN NEED OF REVISING)

Chapter XXVII

Alexys responds by continuing to struggle in freeing herself from the ropes. The sounds of her struggling bring a satisfied smile to Black Shadow's face.

At least, until Alexys fully escapes and leaps onto Black Shadow's shoulders. For an eleven-year old girl against a thirty-two year man, she manages to cling onto him pretty tightly. She starts pulling on his hair. Black Shadow yelps and leans back. Alexys can only hold her grip for a little while longer before she falls off of him and onto the floor.

"It's so cute how you think you can fight back against me, darling," Black Shadow muses.

Alexys slowly stands back up. "I've gained some strength over the past few years. You have no idea what countless years of torture caused by you has led to."

"Try me."

Saying that is a big mistake for Black Shadow. Alexys lets out a battle cry and leaps back at Black Shadow, tackling him to the ground. The two start rolling around, and Alexys clearly has the upper hand in this fight. She slams Black Shadow's head into the ground multiple times, kicks him where the sun doesn't shine, twists his arms as far as she can, you name it.

"I'm DONE with letting you control me and treat me like a doll! It's MY turn to have control now!" Alexys screams at the top of her lungs. Black Shadow struggles to reach the helicopter's controls. He reorients the helicopter and sends it on a straight path to the power plant. Alexys kicks him in the groin again, this time hard enough to send Black Shadow stumbling backward until he falls out of the cockpit. He gets both hands on the edge and starts trying to pull himself up.

Alexys walks over to him and stomps at one of his hands, causing Black Shadow to pull it away from the edge. Now he's hanging by just one hand, which isn't enough for him to get himself back up. He tries swinging his other arm back, but fails to reach several times before finally giving up. By now, the helicopter is almost ready to fly directly over the inside of the power plant.

"Please, Alexys! I didn't mean any harm!" Black Shadow pleads, dangling from the helicopter like a piece of thread.

Alexys looks down on the man who's tortured her and given her emotional trauma more than any other girl her age should ever have. Her face shows absolutely no remorse.

"I'd rather spare the lives of future girls than spare yours," she says, plucking off one finger at a time. When they fly directly over the opening to the power plant, she plucks the final one off.

Black Shadow screams throughout the entire fall, flailing through the air like a bird making efforts to fly. He lands inside the nuclear waste, and from there, he meets his fate within mere seconds. Alexys just watches his final moments, waving to him with a, "Buh-bye!"

She's then taken by surprise by the rescue team's hovercraft showing up. It motions for her to get on, which she does so with only a slight bit of hesitance. The hovercraft flies her back to the team, who are now applauding and cheering for Alexys' huge victory.

Throughout the entire brawl between Alexys and the Black Shadow, we pretty much stood on the balcony watching the scene unfold the entire time. It was a pretty amazing sight to watch.

After the hovercraft drops Alexys off, we finish up the last rounds of our applause. She steps off and joins us.

"That was INCREDIBLE!" Mia yells.
