Hello, my name is Cordelia. I guess by now you've figured out that I am indeed pansexual. This tiny book exists to explain the events leading up to what I am today. Let's get into it, shall we? :)
I guess it all started in 7th grade when a friend of mine came out to me as bisexual. This was the beginning of me finding out that being gay or lesbian or whatever you want to be is ok. Keep in mind that I was born into a Mormon family, so I was raised with unfair views against the LGBTQ community. So yeah, eventually a few of my other friends came out to me and before I knew it, BOOM I had a crush on a girl. At first, I was like 'holy shit what am I, do I like girls?' Yes, young 7th grade Cordelia, you like girls. Not much later after that, I declared myself as bisexual. Two of my other friends were also bi, so that sort of helped me to become closer to them. After that, I started getting lots of crushes on girls, but still finding guys attractive, too. However, my dumb ass also found transgender peeps hella attractive. I knew that this was better described as "pansexual" instead of "bisexual", but I just said that 'the term bisexual fits me better'. Come 8th grade, and I helped a friend of mine figure out she's asexual. When I came out to her, I just decided to stop bullshitting my own self and call me what me is--PANSEXUAL. After that, I kinda had to re-come out to people since my dumb ass couldn't figure out that I was pansexual in 7th grade, but that's fine, they didn't care that much. So yeah, ever since then, I've come out to people as pansexual. And that's how my pansexual ass came to be. Also, fun fact: when I was in 8th grade, I came out to my cousin and my older brother, and both of them supported me :D
Thx for listening to my dumb story babes! Hope you enjoyed!
Peace out ✌
