Have you ever imagined fallen in love with your bestfriend. Well that's what happened to me. It was Junior year where sparks flew. My name is Riley this is my story on how I ended up fallen in love with my bestfriend.
"Rider why don't you go kiss my pretty butt" I yelled at him
"I wouldn't touch that pretty butt of yours"
"But you did say pretty butt" I screamed
"We are best friends after all" he screamed jumping into the pool
"You know you're crazy and wild" Rider said
"Well you signed up to be my best friends for life"
Are summer kept going like this. We hanged out so much that people even thought we were dating. We laugh when the subject is brought up. But until Junior year I began to be jealous of his girlfriend
"Alright I can't stand this I'm walking home" I shouted
"Hang on Riley, I'll see you later babe" Rider said to his girlfriend
"Are you done with your little make out session"
"Awe is someone jealous, don't worry Rye I'll always be here for you"
Wow he really does know how to make a girl have butterflies in her stomach. But were just bestfriends.
"So are you going to stand there or I'm I gonna give you a ride"
"Oh, yea I need a ride" I said smiling
"Okay enough smiling you weirdo" he said
"Okay I'll just stop because your annoying sometimes"
"Oh, look who's talking Little miss perfect"
"I am not little miss perfect for your information"
"Okay then enlighten me will you"
"Really, whatever thanks for the ride anyways, text you later"
"Yea text me" Rider said driving off to some where I don't even know
I walked into my house and I couldn't stop thinking of him, the rest of the year went like that me being jealous of the girls, him making fun of me for that. And now proms right around the corner. I have nobody who's going to take me.
"So which girl are you taking to prom" I asked
"It's okay Rye, I'm going solo this year"
"Wow Rider going solo what a surprise"
"There's no surprise little miss perfect, I just wanna take time for myself" let's see how long Rider can be solo
"Okay Mr. Solo I'll leave you too it then" Well f**k the prom I'm going by myself.
The day of prom is one of those day I will remember. It was good night for me and Rider. So, I went to prom solo and when I got their Rider was there
"So, I see Mr. Solo did come all by himself" I said tapping his shoulder
"Yea because I'm waiting for a special girl"
"May I ask who this special girl is"
"Yea she's standing in front of me"
"Wait what does this mean"
"I like you a lot"
That night I confessed my love and he did too that's how we went from Besties to Lovers
