Cracking The Spy

Wanda never thought that she would fall for the former russian spy but here she was months after meeting her feeling absolutely in love with her. Wanda was so used to only depending on her brother that she wasn't prepared to feel so attached to another person. After her brother's death and she joined the Avengers, Wanda started spending amble amounts of time with Black Widow. The minute she made the acquaintance of this rough around the edges woman she was intrigued by her. This woman was someone that appeared to be badass, hard to understand, and cold-hearted.  I mean don't you have to be all of those to be a good spy. These qualities didn't make Wanda want to run away but instead made her want to get closer to get a better look. She believed that there was more to what the eye could see and she was determined to find out who the true Black Widow is under all of her shady past and  demeaning exterior.

It wasn't surprising that once  Black Widow started helping Wanda protect herself in other ways then using her powers that Wanda would truly start developing actual feelings for this mysterious women. She barely knew anything about her. All she knew is that the more time she spent with her the more desire she had to crack the woman's exterior. She meant to develop a understanding of the Black Widow not develop full fledged feelings for her.

Wanda was laying in her small room in the Avengers headquarters a few hours before she was supposed to meet Black Widow for a sparring lesson. As she laid in bed thoughts of Black Widow filled her head. Was it possible that she had developed feelings for this woman? She had been exploring her powers but maybe all a long she was exploring the option of a sexuality she didn't think she would have. Over the last couple of months she didn't learn a lot about Black Widow's past but she did feel like the woman was warming up to her company. Sometimes after her lesson they would sit in the room just talking. It was never anything personal but it was always genuine conversation. She wondered if she acted on these emotions if Black Widow would feel the same or if it would just complicate things. She was tired of complicated things. Would confessing her feelings lead the woman to opening up or ruin the progress Wanda had made these past couple of months? Wanda knew that she was more than just a former spy and a current fellow avenger but someone  that she could see herself being intimate with her. Wanda's emotions have always gotten the best of her so she knew once these feelings become super prominent there would be no way of holding them back. Wanda's mind flashbacked to the the death of her brother when she felt so much anger and grief that she was able to use more power then she thought was capable of. She knew that her attraction to this avenger may not end well but she was determined to keep going until it turned sour. " I think I am.." *BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* Wanda's alarm rang informing her it was time to meet up with Black Widow. The alarm had interrupted her thoughts but she knew they would make their way back the next time she had a free moment.

"Get out of your head!"Black Widow yelled, knocking Wanda on her back for the millionth time today. Wanda just could not concentrate at all. Black Widow's appearance was different and Wanda kept staring in awe. The woman's usual black jacket and black pants were replaced with a blue navy shirt and leggings. Her usual put together hair was messy and curly at the ends. Her hair was still ginger but it felt almost vibrant today. Minor changes but it had Wanda's head foggy and not able to concentrate on blocking Black Window's attacks. "Let's just end early since you came to lose today." Hearing her voice Wanda realized that she was still laying on the ground admiring her appearance. Wanda picked herself off the ground and walked toward the avenger hoping talking would keep her from having such fluffy and romantic thoughts about the women she was becoming more and more attracted to. "I haven't been sleeping much. I'll be better next time." she said. Either the woman didn't hear or just didn't care because she didn't respond. "You look different today.. I like it." The words slipped out of her mouth before she could stop them. The words stopped the avenger in her track and she spun around to look Wanda in the eyes.  Her eyes were much darker today as if she was greatly bothered by something. Her eyes did not match her appearance. "I needed a change but don't get used to it." Black Widow said before quickly leaving the room before Wanda could say another word.
