"Where am I?" Annie wondered aimlessly around the strange, unfamiliar and dark street. The only sources of light were the dim streetlights. The moon was hidden by the misty clouds. The street was filled with decrepit houses and tall trees. The sudden breezes making her shiver. Annie looked around and realised that she had been dropped off at the wrong place. She sighed deeply, remembering how hard she tried to persuade her mum to let her go. She took out the crumpled paper from her jacket pocket. She squinted her eyes to read the scruffy handwriting in the dark, 'Sophie's party, Gray Street 18'. Filled with embarrassment and stupidity she playfully smacked her head. "Oh Grey Street," She mumbled annoyed with herself for mixing up the addresses.

Annie had been looking forward to going to her best friends, Sophie's party for weeks. She tried her best to persuade her parents until they agreed to let her go. Annie and Sophie had been friends since primary school. They always spent time together and attended each others parties but as they grew up they drifted apart. Their friendship groups had differed and they weren't as close as before. Annie thought that this would be the perfect opportunity to catch up.

Feeling some sort of hope, she took out her phone and turned it on. She groaned as she saw the one percent battery in the corner of the screen. "I'm sure I put this on charge!" She said angrily. She tried to unlock her phone but it turned off. "Are you kidding?" She instantly regretted spending the whole night before watching YouTube videos. Feeling tired, She began to walk across the road towards the path. Her foot got  caught on a stone and she screamed as she fell, her head hitting the corner of the pavement, her hands scratched scraping the rough road at either side of her face and her legs were spread across the road in an abnormal shape as she laid there.

Giving up entirely, she put the phone back in her pocket and sat herself down on the dirty, grey pavement next to a streetlight. Annie sighed hopelessly as she looked at her surroundings. In front of her was a deserted road, behind that was a row of ancient looking houses. Between every few houses there was a newsagents. The street looked incredibly dull but one thing stood out. Directly in front of her, an ice cream parlour caught her eye. The bright pink neon lights making the shop stand out. The lights spelling open flashed on and off. This shop looked so new and modern whereas every thing else looked old and ancient. It was calling her name. It seemed to be the only thing open. Not taking this into consideration, Annie reached into her pocket to check if her phone charger was still in there and sighed with relief. Annie pulled out her charger and her emergency ten pound note and stood up.

She began to walk towards the illuminating building. She decided that she was going to charge her phone when she got on the shop, ring her mum telling her where to pick her up and buy some ice cream. She pushed open the door and walked inside.

There were white tables and pink chairs at either side of the room. The walls were also pink and was studded with fake diamonds. Overall it looked very appealing. There were Asher people here they were sat down on the chairs not doing anything. They weren't talking, laughing or eating ice cream, they just sat there emotionless. There was faint music playing in the background bit it was fairly silent. Just wanting to go home, Annie ignored the abnormality and walked up to the counter.
"Hiya," she said cheerily even though she wanted to get out here as fast as she could. The woman behind the desk didn't reply.
"Urm do you have a plug socket?"
The woman pointed to a plug socket near one of the empty tables.
"Can I also have a..." she looked up to see the ice cream menu. It was a pink board and said menu in black. Underneath the title there was absolutely nothing, no different flavoured ice creams or toppings or sorbets nothing.

Getting even more frightened she said,
"You know what forget it, I don't think I am in the mood for ice cream anyway."
She walked towards the empty table and plugged her charger in.
