The night was still, but a big brown tabby tom with a white face bursted into adderclan's camp, a ginger she-cat at his side. Her face was bloody with long scratch marks, her eyes were down as the medicine cat stuck their nose out of the den. The medicine cats grey-brown fur fluffed up as she quietly walked towards them, "Great starclan! What happened?". Her ears were perked up in alert as the brown tom meowed "Just a rogue, nothing else" he pushed the ginger she-cat forward harshly before turning to her and narrowing his eyes "Right, Gingerflight?". Gingerflight trembled before nodding, the medicine cat slowly guided gingerflight to the den suspiciously. The tom had tried to follow before the medicine cat snapped "She needs rest, you can check on your mate later Eagleclaw!". Eagleclaw sighed "Do you know who your speaking to Buzzardheart?, I am the deputy of this clan". Buzzardheart rolled her eyes "Yes, I know I’ve been medicine cat for a long time". She trotted into the medicine den, Gingerflight by her side. Gingerflight sat in a small nest her eyes still down as Buzzardheart grabbed some cobweb, placing it gently on gingerflight's face with one paw. Buzzardheart sighed deeply before meowing "He's hurting you again.. isn't he?" She looked at Gingerflight with a apologetic glance as the she-cat then broke into a sob. "i just want him to love me and he won't even let me leave.. I see him with Sandyheart everyday he cheats on me and if I defend myself he hurts me!" The more she sobbed Buzzardheart looked around hoping Eagleclaw wasn't listening. She looked at Gingerflight and put the tip of her tail on her shoulder "You know.. if you ever don't... Feel safe you can always come to me?, Okay" she then purred as Gingerflight got up. Buzzardheart then meowed again "Your getting more plump than usual by the way, I know your pregnant".
