The Manor of Light

Scarlet flowers thrash violently
Ivy lurks upon the gnarled oak from
Which they were hanged
The white roses' thorns drip with blood
Shrikes slaughter
The light reveals all of the sins
Bares our ugliness and beauty
A garish, white palace
Surrounded by these vast gardens of
Blinding agony
