chapter 3 - making friends(?)

The man, or now, Baldi's expression showed one of shock, "How...how did you know it...?" You gulped, "W-Well, my aunt gave me this game to do over the summer, a-and you were on the cover, disk, and title s-screen..." To prove your point, you managed to get out of Arts' hold and grabbed the case, showing it to him. He took it, glancing over the case, "Where is the disk?" "It's should be still in the computer..." Walking over and checking, the disk was still there. 

Unfortunately, it had a huge slice on it.

"O-Oh...." you managed out. "What is it? Is it there?" Baldi's tone was more softer, unlike how he had snapped earlier. Maybe he calmed down. "No, i-it's still here, it's just-ow..!" You had reached out to take it to him, but ended up with a burned hand. Why was it so hot? You hadn't even gotten to play the game. Or, it could be the fact that the characters had been pulled from the game. Yep.

Wincing, you held your hand as it throbbed with pain. "Are you alright?" You almost jumped as Baldi placed a hand on your shoulder. "U-Uh...the game disc kinda b-burned my hand..." Baldi looked at the disc, looking worried at the huge scratch. He pulled a ruler(?) out from nowhere and used that to take the disc off. How? I don't know. Baldi's  a master with rulers. The other characters gathered around the disc currently balanced on the ruler. "We should try to fix the disc, that scratch might prevent us from going back." The brown-haired man said. You huffed, flinching at every throb of pain from your hand. 

"HeY!"

You jumped, wincing slightly, at Playtime's arrival. "Y oU r n am E is (Y/N), r Ig h T? I 'm P l aY ti M e!" She said, her voice grating your ears. "Y-Yeah...it's nice to meet you, Playtime..." She giggled, and then proceeded to ramble about how you two should play together.

This was going to be a long summer.

(w h e w ok i rushed on this. might take a small break from this, as i have a baldi oneshot i want to hopefully get done. it is a reader insert except the reader is male because g a y.
