Around 2:00 am I woke up to my roommate calling my name. I got up from my bed and headed downstairs. Then suddenly I felt someone pull me into a room with their hand on my mouth. When I turned around it was my roommate Lilith. She whispered to me saying, "you heard it too". Then I looked at her in fear whispering back to her, "if you didn't call me then who did?".
We heard the mysterious voice call my name again. It was coming from the kitchen. We made our way to the kitchen silently. When we were by the kitchen entrance we saw something, we couldn't explain. We saw a lady in what seemed to be a white gown. She had a 1950s hairstyle. I decided to take a closer look. My roommate whisper yelled "Tae, what are you doing? Tae!".
I walked up towards her and she turned around. She had blood on her stomach. The blood stained the middle of her silky white gown. When her eyes focused on me she looked at me with mixed emotions. She held the look of happiness, sadness, confusion, and anger. She said softly, "Tae help me please!". I replied, "How do you know my name? Who are you? Why are you here?".
She said, "My name is Marilyn R. Sheppard. I used to live here. I learned your name from that girl you live with." I looked at Lilith motioning her to come closer. "How can I help?" I asked looking back at Marilyn. She replied, "help me find my son". Lilith stepped forward towards Marilyn. "Your kidding right it's nearly 4 am we have work in a few hours and we're tired so can we do this tomorrow or some other day other than today," Lilith said with slight anger in her eyes.
Marilyn was filled with a wave of sudden anger and sadness. She looked at Lilith in the eyes and said, "ok fine go back to sleep I won't bother you two anymore." Then she vanished in thin air. Lilith and I looked at each other and shrugged our shoulders then we went back upstairs. We returned to our rooms and went to bed.
After that incident, Lilith would wake up with marks, cuts, and bruises all over her body. As time passed it got worst. It got so bad to the point where Lilith had to go to the hospital because she was severely injured and she was internally bleeding. When she got released from the hospital we decided to move and never go back.
