Chapter 1

Chaerin's POV

I was hanging out with my best friend, Areum. We we're just talking about school and laughing about random things.

We we're supposed to head to our classroom until Taeyong and his group of friends greeted us.

"Oh hello Chae!" Taeyong said while giving me a hug after

"Oh hi Tae!" I replied hugging back

We let go of the hug and just smiled at each other. I look over to my side and didn't saw Areum besides me

"Hmm... where did she go?" I thought

"Oh... uhh... i have to go now! See you around guys" I said while walking to the classroom

"Okay. See ya Chae!" I heard Jaehyun shouted

It was almost lunch time. My teacher was just explaining everything and all that while I was just waiting for our lunch time.

My teacher was about to say something until the bell rang. I letted out a sigh and greeted my teacher a goodbye.

While I was walking to the cafeteria. I felt someone tapping my shoulder

"Hey! Don't leave me alone here Chae!" Areum said

"Hah! I knew it was you" I said while chuckling

We got to the cafeteria and we got our food. Areum insisted to go on our different friend group. I quickly went to taeyong's

"Heyoo!" I said while smiling

"Oh hey Chae! I didn't know you we're gonna sit with us today" Taeyong replied smiling back at me

Taeyong moved and letted me sit beside him and Yuta.

We we're eating and talking at the same time. I was enjoying most of the time with them.

I miss hanging out with them so bad

"Oh! I have to go now. I'll see y'all after school" I said while waving goodbye at them

"Bye Chae!" They all said in unison

"Sigh. Im lucky to have friends like them" I thought while smiling a bit

I went to class with Areum and listened to out teacher

Finally! School finally ended. I quickly went out and walked home but felt like someone was beside me. I looked at my right side and saw Taeyong besides me

"Oh! I didn't notice you we're there Taeyong" I said with a surprised look

"Hahaha yeah! I just wanna walk you home since our houses are pretty close" He said

"Plus, I don't want you to feel lonely and alone. Who knows something might happen to you too!" He also said

Aww! How sweet of him. He is such a cuti- STOP RIGHT THERE CHAERIN! I mean yeah... he is cute but like-

My thoughts got interrupted by Taeyong saying goodbye to me

"Ahh! Bye Taeyong! Thank you for walking me home by the way!" I said while waving at him

I smiled at myself and opend my house door. I opened to see my parents looking at me with a some sort of disappointing expression.

"Is there anything wrong?" I said

"Yes! Cause you are still hanging out with that Taeyong guy!" My dad exclaimed

"What's the problem with that?" I replied back

"Do you even realise that his family's company is rivals with ours?!?" My dad said with an angry tone

Oh, I forgot to mention. My family owns a big company and apparently I'm not allowed to hang out with Taeyong cause our companies are so called "rivals"

"Ugh. Just leave me alone for once dad." I said while walking upstairs to my room

"Hey! Come back here young lady!" My dad shouted

I just shrugged it off and headed to my room

"Ugh she is such a disgrace to this family" I heard my dad say towards my mom

I honestly don't care on what his saying and all that. I'm used to it. Whenever he sees me hanging out with Taeyong he just scolds me.

It frustrates me ALL the time. I just made a loud sigh and went to my bathroom to change my clothes and cleanse myself

I was done cleansing up and now I'm here just writing some stories on my journal that my gave me.

I heard a knock on my door and heard my mom said "dinner's ready!"

I quickly headed down and headed to my chair

"So how was school sweetie?" My mom asked

"It's good. How about your work mom?" I asked

"I'm doing well at work to sweetie. Oh and your father has something to tell you" My mom said while looking down at her empty
plate

What is it dad?" I said trying to act nice

"If I see you hanging out with that Taeyong guy again. I'm gonna let you switch schools and force you to take over my position on work" He said strictly

What the actual heck? Is he that serious? It's not even a big deal but he says that if he sees me hanging out Taeyong again he is gonna switch me to another school

"Why are you taking such a big deal from it? Ugh!" I pushed the table and stormed out

My dad was about to slap me but my mom stopped him from it

I went to my room and locked the door immediately. I slid down crying from frustration. Ugh why can't I just live peacefully. Why can't I just be free. Why can't I be with Taeyong.
