Nightmares

Chapter 1~

 Icy woke up in a cold sweat and sat upward, that had to have been the third nightmare she had that week and it was even worse than the last. She held her hands over her eyes and let out a deep sigh as she looked at the time, seeing that it was three o’clock in the morning, ’the same time as last night,’ she thought to herself as she shuffled toward the edge of the bed. Every night for the past two weeks she had woken up at exactly three, after that she had stayed awake and almost never fell back to sleep. She barely got even twelve hours of sleep the week prior. The bluenette slowly shuffled to her bathroom and flicked on the light, flinching a bit at the change of lighting. She stepped toward the sink to look in the mirror. The small girl gazed into the mirror and was shocked to see how dark the underneaths of her dull yellow eyes were. Her once dark skin was pale and her hands were shaking. Icy put her hair into it’s regular style and walked to the kitchen to make coffee. She was halfway to the kitchen when she tripped over something and face planted into the ground. She groaned and sat upright holding her head in her hands. Once the bluenette regained her sight she was shocked to see the small plush, professor Kevin, holding a couple of encyclopedias
