Maxson Miles only 5 years old when his parents divorced, his father abused him for sometimes reasons, sometimes he was just angry and needed someone to take it out on, but it was mostly Maxson.
But when his stepdad came along, that was the worse part. At the age of 10 he was raped by his stepdad; his mother however cared none of it, she let everything slide when it came to Maxson getting hurt, but it he got into trouble, that's when she cared and grounding him every moment she had. But this time, was a strange sort of grounding

It was 5 O'clock in the morning, the young boy Maxson felt his mother gently shake him, it was strange, strange because she was never gentle with Maxson about anything. It was always screaming and yelling at him to wake up but not this early.

Maxson's eyes slowly opened and let out a soft grumbled "What...? What's going on?" He glanced at his mother through tired eyes. She simply smiled "Were going on a road trip, let's go." She spoke softly to her son before walking out of the room to leave the confused boy laying on his bed. Why was his mother speaking so softly? Why was she being so polite and nice? And who takes road trips at 5 in the morning?!

He decided not to question it any further. He got up and dressed into a pair of blue baggy jeans with a red and black plaid flannel and a white t-shirt underneath. Maxson made his way downstairs to his mother who was standing by the doorway "Ready to go, Maxxy?" She smiled sweetly down at the Redneck boy. He decided to play along and admire the kindness his mother gave him for however long he'd have it. A smile appeared on the 11 year olds face "ready!" He chirped happily as him and his mother walked out to their car. The young boy hopped up into the passengers seat whilst his mother got into the drivers seat.

"Where are we goin' Mama?" Maxson asked after a while of driving they were out of town "we're going to a campsite." His mother answered in a friendly, the smile still plastered on her face to the point where it became concerning. "but I didn't bring any stuff." The boy frowned slightly, thinking he would get into trouble for not packing. His mother only lightly shook her head "Dont worry, maxxy. We won't be there for long." After she finished her sentence, it became a long and silent ride to the campsite.

Eventually they arrived, Maxson and his mother stepped out of the car and walked a bit far from it. They got to a lake, it was round about sun down and the lights were shining off of the sparkling lake. Maxson's eyes were fixed on the colours "Pretty..." he whispered under his breath as he sat down on the small wooden deck.

His mother walked over "I'll be right back, Maxxy. Mama just has to go to the bathroom, you stay here." She smiled and pat her boy's head "Okay mama," he replied with a grin before she walked away.

Hours past, five hours to be exact, and there was no sign of his mother. Maxson remained on the deck as his mother asked, he had his small arms wrapped around his legs that were pressed to his chest. Soft sobs escaped his lips as tears made their way down his red cheeks.

The boy heard a twig snap from behind him, he turned around quite quickly to see who was there "Mama..?" He whispered "You're scaring me..." he slowly got up from his spot, slowing heading towards where his Mother parked the car. He froze in place as he saw that the car wasn't there, he had left him. Fear hit his nerves like a bag of bricks, his breathing becoming heavy and quick, questions racing through his mind "M-Mama!!" The young man cried out a few times but gave up. It was useless. His mother wasn't coming back for him, it didn't surprise him. He knew his family hated him, he knew everyone else did too. Except for one girl named Zoie, she was his best friend, they did everything together, they'd go out to the fair sometimes or out to the park, those were the times In his life where he felt happy and loved, he wished he could just be apart of Zoie's family, they cared about their children and would kill if they were ever hurt. Maxson's parents were the entire opposite but he never complained or told Zoie about them, some of the stories he told her were made up, he only cared about her problems instead of his own, that's the way he liked it.

After a few moments of roaming, Maxson returned to the lake, it seemed to be a calm place to be until he heard footsteps come up behind him. Anxiously turning his head, he saw a man about over 6 foot towering over him wearing a old rusty-like Hockey mask; strangely Maxson wasn't scared, he wasn't a very judgemental person, he only glanced up at him "Um, Hi...sorry to disturb you but...my mother left me here...is there any place I can go for help...?" He asked with a shaky voice. The man didn't reply, he only held his gloved hand out for him to take, which he did willingly and followed him to an old cabin.

The young redneck looked around, he began to take a small hint of who the man was, he paused and looked up at him "You're Jason Voorhees, aren't you...?" He tilted his head, but still wasn't scared of the killer. Jason only nodded, being of course silent as always. Maxson only smiled "I'm Maxson! It's nice to meet you." He introduced himself politely. Jason was confused about the child, usually children ran away and he had to kill him, but Maxson was different and treated him as a normal person, it felt nice and his mother thought so too.

Jason kept the child, even when he was now fully grown to the age of 23, he still stayed with him and became the new generation of the Voorhees, following in his new father's footsteps.
