Charlie Carter, a seventeen year-old senior that goes to Lincoln County High School in Iowa, stands about 5'4", happens to be ginger with dark green mystical eyes that she finds very dull and ugly. she lives with her mom in a modern day two story house that sits on three acres of land. Charlie, knowing there isn't much land with her moms beautiful garden taking up plenty of room but has a volleyball net set up by Tristan her best friend and , one of the three musketeers, where she and her best friend Cassie practice without interruptions. Their team isn't the best but are far from the worst.. Charlie never knew her father what so ever and is very curious about what happened to him... in search for him is a journey filled with lies, love, and betrayal.
