Song of the chapter: Schools Out by Alice Cooper.

The bell rang, signaling that school was out for summer. I sprinted down the hallways of RainView High, trying to get to my locker as fast as I could. When I reached my locker I turn the knob, entering the digits, but it still wouldn't budge. "C'monnnn!" I whine and grunt, yet the locker still wouldn't open its mint green door. I shake the locker, causing my books to fall from my arms.

"Need some help?" a tall male asks, his brown hair falling over his green eyes. "No. I can get it!" I grumble as I continue to shale the locker. He watched intently. I groan as I give up, turning away. "Forget this." I saunter up to a trashcan, throwing my textbooks angrily inside. I hear footsteps behind me and I turn around walking right into Jordan. I fall right onto the floor... on my face. "Did you just fall?" Jordan laughs as he picks me up. "No I gave the floor a kiss.. it looked lonely." I draw out sarcastically. he laughs. "You think this is funny." I scowl. "No you should have just let me help." He smirks. "No I think you should have just watched where you were going." I say. "Maybe you should take your Midol before you come to school." he retorts faster than I can blink. I look at him in complete utter shock. "What did you just say?" I ask with fire in my eyes. "Nothing..., now hurry up we have a volleyball game to attend." he says. "Wait how did you kno-... Never mind."

We arrive at the beach with five minutes to spare. I hop from the car, my feet hitting the scorching sand. as is strip the clothes from my body I break into a sprint, hurrying to the net, feet kicking up gold particles. Ronnie stood near the net, foot tapping expectantly.

"Yo, wait up!" Jordan calls as he runs to catch up. I scoff as I pull my shirt off, leaving me in simply a sports bra and spandex. the cool cloth felt heavenly against my already perspiring skin. "in your dreams, buddy."

I approach the net, flashing a smile at Brynn. He wolf whistles, smirking. "Looking good babe." I glare at him and point to my mouth, making a gagging noise. Ronnie snorts lowly.

Natalie and Cody stood at the opposing side. Natalie combed her fingers through her hair before tying the loose strands back. Cody looked slightly nervous, head bowed, eyes narrowed. he was mumbling things to himself quietly.

"Alright lets get this show on the road, yeah?" Ronnie asked, climbing up the lifeguard post and sitting, crossing her legs. She lifted the red whistle to her lips and grinned, blowing it sharply and pointing to my side.

Brynn cast a glance at me and nodded, taking a step forward. he tosses the ball and jumped up hitting it harshly, hiving it right to Cody. He yelped as he quickly bumped it up, and Natalie. shot forward to set it over the net. I grunt as I jump up, spiking it back over, my back arching as my feet lift from the sand.

"Shit." Cody cursed as he dove for the ball, stomach hitting the sand, face colliding with the concrete-like surface. The ball landed centimeters from is finger tips. Ronnie's whistle cracked through the cheering. This went on for nearly an hour. one by one, the points were adding up. Brynn and I were up by one. One more serve. "Molly's ball." Ronnie pointed , and Natalie begrudgingly tossed It over the net at me. I catch it and place it in the palm of my hand, shifting it. I exhale, eyes brushing closed, concentration making a subtle headache pound away at my skull.

I serve the ball hitting Natalie's fingers as she sets it for Cody. He gets ready to jump and is pushed out of the way by Jordan. Jordan bumps it straight up and Natalie spikes it landing her face awestruck. "I really should yellow card you for that but I'm not going to because that was awesome." she laughs and Brynn begins to argue. "Tsk Tsk, never argue with the ref, she or he is always right. OVERULED!!!!!" she laughs and blows the whistle signaling for the game to continue. Natalie and Jordan put up a huge fight, Jordan hits one last ball and it goes out by a centimeter.

One last serve is all you need.....

I toss the ball, jump and hit it as hard as I can. it flew right threw Jordan's arms. It goes silent and Ronnie blows the whistle and makes an X with her arms signaling we won the game. Everyone shouted and cheered as we collapsed on the hot sand. our chest rising anfd falling like the waves.

This is only the beginning of my story, its just a filler some more interesting stuff will happen later on
