Shade defined the deep brush. Darkness swallowed the valley.

A calming silhouette stroked the growth that reached the tips of her ears. She stared, as if expecting something, or someone. Another silhouette, cowing compared to the lithe outline of a she-cat. A soft, voice that glowed with kittenish quality, though not flirting, began, "I'm afraid we can't find 'it'." "How so?" The tom gave out a muffled, yet young voice. "I'm not sure you'd want to hear about it." She gave a fake beam. "How so?" The tom repeated, now more intimidating. "You see," she took a breath and groaned, "THEY failed." "Well I'M afraid, you're going to go!" The tom snarled bitterly. "PLEASE NO!" Her screech was filled with horror. And shoved.
