Chapter 1 Day One

Dear Mom,
Thank you for giving me this journal to write in while I am on this trip. So I know these letters will never get to you because I won't be able to mail them but I'm not going to write about my feelings. That seems to boring and lame.
So I am writing to you just after dad had dropped me off in the middle of nowhere. For about half an hour we weren't even driving on a road. So since Dad insisted we leave super early I'm the first one there. Besides the 2 camp leaders. Sam and Poppy, they are there to greet me with the fakest smile I have ever seen. More people are starting to arrive so I guess I will go.
And Mom don't expect to see me for 2 months. I am sticking with this because I really want to study in London for university. The deal is still on the table. But I already miss my room so hopefully the cabins kinda make me feel at home.
So more people are starting to arrive. Hanna arrives next. She has come dressed in pjs but had her hair done and a full face of makeup on. By the looks of her bag it is probably only filled with makeup and hair products. Next come these 2 guys Caleb and Jason in the same car. They seem like friends. Then Emily comes. She seems very sporty and looks like she has done this before. Next comes Aria and Ezra coming out from the same car and instantly running to a bush to have a quick make out session before we even start. The last two people haven't arrived yet. When and Toby. Oh never mind a car is pulling up now. It's Wren. She gets out of the car and is starting to make passes at all the girls here. Me, Hanna, Emily, and Poppy. Even Poppy who is clearly at least 10 years older than he is. The last to arrive is Toby. But he hasn't come in a normal car dropped off by his parents. He was brought here by police officers in a squad car with handcuffs on his wrists. The handcuffs are taken off of him and he is pushed by the cop. Who would let a convict come to the camp. I was slightly nervous before but now I'm full blown scared. Thank you for sending me to this camp Mom. You are the "greatest" mom anyone could ask for. Hope you were here to see what is going to happen. But for now you will just have to wait.
