"They're here," He yelled as he ran across the driveway.
He looked up to see the night sky turning from it's mysterious black to a gorgeous, but terrible, white. He climbed up the thirty-foot tree that he had planted the day before.
"I hope this will work," he mumbled worryingly.
He climbed to the top of the tree, where he found a small box that had been placed in the center of the tree. He placed eight gems, each with a different color, inside the box. Finally, he closed it. Then he ran back inside and checked on the light outside.
He wondered, why are they here?
Then he went into his office, or what looked like one and began to write a letter. He wrote:
Dear Family ,

Thank you for taking my son and taking care of him. His mother has just passed away and I was afraid that the dangers of this world would scare him. When you get this I will probably be dead but, there will come a day when he will obtain magic that he will not be able to control. All I ask of you is one favor. Please don't be scared of him. Try to help him out.
From: Jacob Stanley.
He went back out to check on the tree. It had started to shrink so fast that it was gone in a few seconds.
"I hope it gets delivered to the correct bearers," he mumbled and rushed inside as the light disappeared over his house.
The house was gone.

Jacob woke up in his house and paced around the room thinking that nothing was wrong. He went outside and that is when he saw something very strange. He found himself in an enormous forest and a figure appeared in a circle of red smoke. "Hello, dear," The figure said.
