The Murders of Silver Pine University

Chapter 1 The Case

Salem, Massachusetts, November, 1st 1977
The President of Silver Pine University died on campus today. No one knows what happened but the other Witch Hunters of Silver Pine U are suspecting foul play. As the idea of Mr. Teske getting murdered is an overwhelming thought. Being assigned to document and solve his death is overwhelming for a College freshman do to the fact that 99% of the staff and students had a mutual distaste for the guy considering the man was a total spaz. But from what people I interviewed said, "The last time I saw of Mr. Teske was when he disappeared into the forest (that is scattered across 99% of the campus). He said he was going to go visit Spectral Creek, the DEEPEST creek in THE WORLD (20ft deep at its deepest point)." Spectral Creek hmm interesting name? Not long after that the school heard screams coming from the creek. One of the vice presidents went to investigate. But when they got there the President was covered in blood and had multiple cut wounds on his arms and legs. That's all I know for the time being. But if anyone wants to know more the newly appointed President Williams will be discussing it at the Silver Pine's main Auditorium later between 10:00 and 11:00am. But for the meantime the students at Silver Pine U need to keep on truckin.

"Wow Will this is a really bitch'n article. I'm actually really impressed how you got both Times News and New York Times to publish this and send it out across the ENTIRE country." Will replied, "Ya I'm very happy that my News Article became dynamite. Another far out thing I did is that I also managed to get in touch with ABC NEWS. And they said they'll send down some reporters to help with my investigation. But Professor I think we need to get to that assembly before all the seats get filled up." The Professor nodded and walked off with Will to the main building on the Campus.
The auditorium was packed as many people came to get the incite on what had happened. Will got to sit where the cameras were due to him being the handpicked person to solve and document the case. As President Williams began his speech, "People of America as most of you are aware the former President of Silver Pine University died on campus earlier today. The Massachusetts police department has no idea what happened or whether or not it was a murder, suicide, or just an accident. However we do have a freshmen student from Silver Pine University. He was the top News reporter and editor in both his high school and middle school, so believe me when I say he isn't no fooey. His name is Will Sandin and we have personally selected him to solve and document this unusual death. Now I'll give the stand to the man himself, Will Sandin." The crowd clapped as Will took the stand, "Thank you! Now from what I do know is that Mr. Teske wasn't exactly everybody's favorite person. For that reason my fellow Witch Hunters are suspecting foul play and that our former President was killed or committed suicide. These are questions I intend to answer." As Will stopped vice President Winchester came up to the podium and said, "Thank you Will for that far out speech. Now does anyone have any questions?" Almost 200 people raised their hands. Will felt overwhelmed and called on one of the people in the back. The man stood up and said, "Hi I'm a reporter from ABC News and I was wondering if you could help enlighten the general public about what time Mr., Teske was found and about how long was he there for?" Will spoke into the mic he was carrying and said, "Honestly we're not sure yet but once the assembly is over i'm going to go to the schools health department and perform an autopsy to figure said question." All the hands in the room went down and the guests were dismissed.
As Will walked down past the rows he noticed a kid was sitting in one of the far end seats. He was dressed in what appeared to be light Grey Bell Bottoms,a red and green tie dye shirt, a silver Peace Amulet, and had a purplish green Tie dye headband over his hair that appeared to be shoulder length. Will walked towards the dude and said, "The Assembly is over man you can go home. The kid replied, "I go to this school too Will." Will was shocked as he never had seen this Hippie on the campus before, "I'm sorry who are you?" Will asked. The Hippie looked at Will with a raised eyebrow, "My name is Michael Kane I'm 23 and I'm a senior at this school." Will felt surprised at this and said, "Oh well I'm sorry man. But forgive if I may ask why did you stay?" Michael looked ready to answer his question and then answered, "I know a thing or two about this school and it's strange on goings. So I stayed to offer my help man." Will felt flattered and replied, "Far out. So your like some kind of local historian." Michael laughed and said, "I guess you could call me that. After all i do love a good book." Will smiled trying not to laugh "Right on, but where should we start is the real question." Michael smiled, "Well we should start with Mr. Teske's body by now i think the police have him up in the medical buildings morgue." Will laughed, "Oh right i said that didnt i. Uh all this pressure is already getting to me." Michael smiled and as he got up out of his seat, "Will there all kinds of people dead and alive that have been in your situation. I remember when i was barely out of Elementary around 8 or so i joined a ragtag team of some pretty groove people. And eventually i became the lead team member of our own little club. Sadly i'm the last one left and The Witches of Salem are all but forgotten." Will smiled and mockingly said, "Witches of Salem, what did you guys do ride around on brooms with black cats, pointy hats, and screaming Trick or Treat at people?" As they walked out Michael laughed and said, "No we just kind of investigated and studied the paranormal and other strange things in town man." Will laughed and said, "Well maybe we can bring them back." Michael smiled and said, "Will i think this the beginning of a beautiful Friendship." Michael Laughed as Will punched him in his shoulder and said, "Michael stop it that movie is too old to be quoiting." michael laughed and said, "And to think i thought you were a rad dude. Now that i think about it your kind of raunchy." Will rolled his eyes, "See you later Mike meet at the school's fountain after lunch."
