You ever wonder, does everyone see our whole self? Who actually has seen both the sides of us? Who has seen us at our best and worst? Who hasn't?
We can only consider our friends true if the seen and accept us as we truly our.
I've found friends like that. They've seen me fancy, they've seen me casual, they've seen me and my highest and my lowest. They've seen me in my heels, they've seen me in my Doc Martens. They've seen me in new dresses and worn out favourite jeans. They've seen me pristine hair and then my bed head.
These people love me for the real me. I understand I'm still figuring out who I am and that's ok for them. They'll wait for me to establish myself in the big wide world and wait for me to bloom into a young determined person. They'll wait for the caterpillar to turn into a butterfly, as it were.
Only when a person is willing to do all that, then they are your friends. Your true friends.
I know a couple of people who are my true friends.
