Today was Royalty's birthday. It was a big deal because doctors said she wouldn't be able to make it passed two years. So for her to still be here at the age of one as a healthy baby, this was a big accomplishment. Today is bitter sweet because today was also the day that I lost my best friend. But she left behind a beautiful angel, so I was gonna make sure that her day was special.

I was wearing black shades, a black dress and black heels. I held RoRo on my hips as we walked through the cemetery looking for Brianna's grave. Chills traveled down my arms and about five minutes of searching around, I finally found her tombstone.

I put RoRo on her feet and placed a large blanket on the ground. I sat on top of the blanket and placed RoRo on my lap. "Hey sis...Haven't spoken to you ina minute."

"I jus' wanna let you know that everything is good down here. We miss you dearly but we still love you and we will never forget you. Today is Roro's birthday and we wanted to come see you before her birthday celebration."

I took in a deep breath, "Bri, I hope you realize we always loved you when you were here and we still love you now that you're gone." I sniffled and wiped the tears from my face. Even though things are different now, that doesn't change my feelings for you. You will always be my best friend, my sister and my rock. I still remember when you saw me at Walmart's parking lot and you didn't even hesitate to take a bitch in. It's little things like that, that I would always cherish. You are a beautiful soul and you left one of the best gifts anybody could ask for, Royalty. Royalty loves you and she at that stage now where she wanna know who her real mama is, but until the time comes I just tell her that mommy is with god."

After about five minutes of complete silence and just letting the nature take over. I got up to my feet and stood Royalty up. I placed the dozen of roses down on the ground and left.

After securing RoRo in the car seat and as I was putting together my music playlist, I got a phone call from August.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Was goody?" He replied.

"You wanted something?" I asked him.

"Yea, you want me ta' take RoRo wit' me after da' party?"

"Mhm, it's ya' week anyways."

The phone fell silent for a few seconds.

"That's all you called me for?" I asked.

"I miss you like crazy baybeh."

I sighed, "August you really wanna do this right now?"

"Er'time I try ta' talk ta' ya', you never wan' hear it."

"We can talk after Royalty's birthday. I gotta go August." I said as I was about to turn off the phone.

"Wait hol' up.

I smacked my lips, "What?"

"Gimme some lips."

"Through the phone?" I said laughing.

"Yea cmon, stop playin'."

"Bye August." I hung up the phone and started up the car and drove off. When we finally arrived home, the whole apartment was decorated with a princess theme. I was finishing up the candy bags by wrapping it with ribbons. I heard a knock on the door and got up to answer it.
