Dark daydreamer,
silent singer -
waiting wanderer
of the sparkling seas,
party pirates tip their hats
and today I forget:
like what?
I've got my girlfriends,
and they're there for me
like no other
can. I've got my friends
by my side
and bygones are bygones
(so why not let them be?)
We talk about oceans
on sea fringes
and world upon world
changes and the way we do
that.
The way you do that
in small, small worlds
made for small, small people
like us.
Big dreams, big hopes
big wants -
we're always going to want for more
and hunt you down;
we want more,
want all that you've got,
don't you see?
Bad bitches
daylight itches
and hopeful inklings
of futures, and keys and padlocks
we're somewhere
between
A and B
like what
like what's with that?
