NOTES ON INTO THE MAGIC SHOP
Into the Magic Shop is a book that can be read at the external link tab at the bottom. I was lead to it by a fellow ARMY, and of course BigHit and their production crew.
INTRODUCTION: BEAUTIFUL THINGS
The first sentence of the book- "There's a certain sound the scalp makes when it's being ripped off of a skull – like a large piece of Velcro tearing away from its source." - It reminds me of the first four lyrics in Singularity. Here are the lines:
"A sound of something breaking
I awake from sleep
A sound full of unfamiliarity
Try to cover my ears but can't go to sleep"
Since Tae is singing this song, it may be possible that he could be describing the sound of his father's death, and the guilt that still lives with him. "The sound is loud and angry and just a little bit sad." These could be his emotions as he killed his father, he could also be describing his father as he hurt Taehyung's sister. Either way, it's somebody's emotions. To add on to that, Into the Magic Shop is a story about "A NEUROSURGEON'S QUEST TO DISCOVER THE MYSTERIES OF THE BRAIN AND THE SECRETS OF THE HEART"
