When Darkness Takes Over Africa Fighters

Chapter 1: Gathering.

     Running through the African fields, a cheetah with black socks on his front paws was running swiftly. There were a group of animals, and it seemed as if they were trying to attack someone—no—something! The cheetah changed direction, because he was moving so fast it caused dust to go everywhere, like there was an explosion. The group of animals, they, looked like dogs with eyes of flies. It was unusual. As the cheetah got close it stopped. 'So it seems like these aren't normal critters.' The cheetah thought starting to chuckle to himself. A red gem on its socks started to glow, grabbing the attention of these dogs. The cheetah's hair got some white added to it, the socks turning into gloves. The cheetah's green eyes started to glow, as the sun started to set in front of him. "What a beautiful sight eh? Say, what are you guys?" The cheetah asked as he stared at the dog's eyes. The dogs just stood there, they started to bark then after a while they ran towards the cheetah and tried attacking. The cheetah grabbed the first dog by the neck and through it into another one, which fell on another and another. Then the cheetah avoided an attack and counter-attacked the dog, snapping its neck. Then a big dog, with 4 tails, one a dog tail, one a cat tail, one a lizard tail, and one a bird tail. It also had a stinger like a bee. "So. Mightonians still live in this planet. We thought humans roam the world now." The thing picked up the animal they were attacking. It was a young cheetah cub, its new to the world. "Let it go." The cheetah asked. "Tell me. Who are you first young cheetah." The thing asked. "My name is Chester the cheetah. I'm what's remaining of the Wind Tribe, after humans took them all and did who knows what with them. I run around the African lands and help those who need it. I will not be letting you, or any of your stupid muts, messing with anyone in this place." The cheetah known as Chester demanded. "Hmph... As you wish. Though, 'Chester' I must warn you. This is may be the first attack of the missing ones. But it will not be the last. We will keep on attacking until every last Mightonian creature is gone. I—We wouldn't want any Mightonians to be messing with our lil' feast." The dog laughed then howled, clearly getting the other dogs attention. "I'll see you around, Chester." The dog said and walked off, the other dogs following. "Man and people say dogs are man's best friend? Heck—What was that thing? An Alien? Failed Project?" The cheetah looked around and realized that the little cheetah was just lying there. Chester didn't notice the dog creature placing the thing on the ground. "Better put you somewhere safer little guy." Chester said as he picked up the cheetah. He looked around and saw a slightly small cave by a tree. Chester walks over and puts the little cheetah cub in the cave. "Hopefully mama finds ya kiddo." Chester said. He looked at the area where the sun had set, he looked on the opposite side and saw the moon. Chester put one of his fingers on the gem and transformed into his cheetah form—his normal cheetah form, not his Mightonian one. "I do wonder, what kind Mightonian am I? I just have normal cheetah speed and the appearance of a Mightonian. I can't create Lightning, or burn and make fire. Or walk on water and hope that it follows me..." Chester sighed. "Well. Tomorrows another day..." he said before running off, as he was running the direction of the moon he was thinking about those strange dog creatures.

Meanwhile in a forest; a Jackal was caught up in some trouble. Humans have been searching this place for a while. He didn't like how close they were getting to the place he calls home, so he had to figure out a way to lead them somewhere else. The Jackal transformed from a Mightonian to a normal looking Jackal with a color around his neck than he ran to the humans and started barking grabbing their attention. "Hey there little... Guy..." One of the humans said, taking out a black, oddly shaped thing. He heard some clicking. The Jackal barked a little bit more, as the guy started to point the odd object at him. The human put his hand on something, the jackal wasn't sure though. Then Archie remembered something that one of the other jackals told him. 'There are some people who hold weapons that they call guns. If you ever encounter a human, you should know to be careful. Usually guns are black objects, and when those humans put their finger on the trigger, that usually means that they're about to blow your brains out. It's always suggested that you never go near humans, but if you have to do it.' The jackal jumped from his spot, an instant second before he heard BOOM! 'Alright Archie, you know what to do, lead them from this forest and into a human village of some sort, then leave the forest forever...' The Jackal now known as Archie said. Archie barked a bit, getting the guy to shoot at him again, he dodged the bullet, ran at one of them and bit him. Then Archie started running getting the guys to follow with their guns out, trying to shoot him. Archie managed to lead them to a village, and escape without getting caught, he then ran somewhere that just stone and sitting there. It's abandoned, so he walks in there. He returned to his original Mightonian form and he was greeted there actually. He didn't see who this thing was but what he heard was 'Hello there, welcome. Please feel free to rest if you need to. Any Mightonian is welcome.' The voice sounded like someone he could trust. "H-hello... Who's there?!" Archie asked looking around quickly. From the Shadows a lion walked towards Archie and stopped a few feet away. "Just a fellow Mightonian." The lion said from his dark spot. "Oh thank goodness. I just ran from some people with weird weapons!" Archie shouted out accidently, but in relief. "Um, can you tell me your name?" Archie asked the lion. "The name is Kingston. I'm a lion if you can tell. I can walk on water, create fire, make lightning strike, and some other things." Kingston said. "Phew, alright." Archie said. Both Archie and Kingston heard steps, and it's easy to tell that it was human steps. "That sounds like those are coming from the entrance, and they sound like human steps!" Archie shouted accidently. "Listen Archie, one, you need to stop shouting or you'll lead them to us. Two, I know where there is another exit. Follow me." Kingston said. Kingston started to run off somewhere, Archie followed behind him, quietly. It's clear that humans are trying to follow, eventually Kingston and Archie came across a small hole that Mightonians can crawl through. Eventually they ran through the calm and cool night that Africa had to offer them, eventually though they were greeted by a rabbit. "Ello!" The rabbit said. "Hm, hello. Who are you?" Kingston said to the rabbit. "I'm Blaze, Blaze the rabbit. I figured I'd come back to Africa, my home. I'm a traveling rabbit—or bunny, whatever you want to call me. I left with some friends a while ago and I've been traveling ever sense. So, who are you?" Blaze said. "Nice to meet you Blaze." Archie said. "So have you guys heard?" Blaze asked. "Heard about what?" Archie asked. "Abilitron City should be sending in boats for the Mightonians who live in Africa. Lizird of Abilitron thinks that the Mightonians who live in Africa struggle, so he's inviting all of them to Abilitron." Blaze said. "But the problem is most of us can't leave." Chester said walking through the small hole. "There are aliens attacking Africa. They look like dogs, but they have bug eyes, they look weird. One of these dogs have a stinger, cat tail, lizard tail, dog tail, and a bird tail!" Chester said. "Space Werewolves." Blaze said. Chester looked at Blaze "You heard of these things?" Chester asked. "Yeah they come from another planet." Blaze said. "I heard about them in New York." Blaze said. "Wow..." Chester said. "And how do you know what you heard in New York was even true?" Chester asked. "I looked up to see if the facts were right." Blaze said. "Alright can anyone explain to me what the fire truck is going on right now?" Archie asked. "I'm surprised you, jackal, know what a Fire Truck is, but not a gun." Blaze said. "Well try living away from humans." Archie said. "I'm doing that right now." Blaze said. "Um, guys, just for a second let's all just introduce ourselves. I'm Kingston the Lion." Kingston said. "Chester the cheetah." Chester said "Blaze the bunny, or rabbit, traveling bunny." Blaze said. "Archie the Black Back Jackal." Archie said. "Ok, now we know each other." Kingston said.

After a while of getting to know each other the four decided to go have a little walk around. They went to Twisted Forest where Abilitron City Ships come from. When they got there they saw a boat pull in and a black bear walk out of the ship. "You four standing there!" The bear said looking at the four Mightonians. "Can we help you sir?" Kingston asked the bear. "My name is Teddy, the Pirate bear. I came from Abilitron City at Lizird's request. Abilitron City has been attacked by Dark Wolves recently and the city needs as much help as it can get." Teddy said. "Hey I have a question Kingston, why are you speaking for all of us?" Archie asked. "Lion habits." Kingston said. Kingston again returned his attention to Teddy. "Teddy, when did the Dark Wolves first attack?" Kingston asked. "When the sky went black and a thunderbolt hit someplace far away from Powluna. Abilitron City sent all of their strongest Mightonians to go investigate but by the time they got there the sky was back to its normal state. Shortly after that, that's when the Dark Wolves started attacking." Teddy said. "And there was a voice that I head when that was happening. Something about taking back this world." Chester said. "Yeah I heard it too." Blaze said. "Mightonians from all over the world heard this voice. I've been to lands and asked people if they know anything about what happened. They all had no idea what happened but they all said that they heard a voice speak saying something like that." Teddy asked. "I do like to do research!" Blaze said. "Oh I can tell." Chester said. "Okay guys do not start fighting." Kingston said. "Would you like to go to Abilitron City, in Powluna?" Teddy asked. "No thanks. But I would like to be able to speak to this Lizird guy you mentioned earlier." Kingston said. "I'll be right back." Teddy said as he walked to his boat and grabbed something. He brought it over to Kingston. "That item there will allow you to speak to Lizird from anywhere you are at." Teddy said. "I will be le—I nearly forgot I have to go get some supplies from this place while I'm here." Teddy said as he walked into Twisted forest. "Okay, I'll be leaving to find a new home since humans found mine." Kingston said. "Humans are beginning to find the place I called home... And...sorry about that Kingston. I, just was trying to get humans away from my family." Archie said as he apologized to Kingston. "There's really no problem with that, really. There's many places in Africa that we can find and call home." Kingston said. "Beside's a group of people is more important than one." Kingston added as he walked off. "Maybe you want to live with me Archie?" Kingston said inviting Archie to live with him in whatever place he finds to call his new home. "Hey wait!" Blaze said running up with Kingston, Chester followed because, he doesn't see any issue with it. "How about you stay with me? My home has room for many! More than thousands. And I will admit it does get lonely living alone." Blaze said. "Well since you came to me inviting, then I don't see the problem with it." Kingston said. "Alright! What about you Chester?" Blaze asked looking at Chester. "Well, I don't have a home anyway." Chester said.
