Meredith opens the door to the house with a smile on her face.
Her pace is fast, but also smooth.
She opens the door quickly.
Maggie is seen carrying a crying Ellis in her arms.
"Oh, thank goodness. I've been waiting for you. Ellis is still crying," Maggie said loudly.
"Maggie. I can't do this right now. Riggs is coming over at 5:00," Meredith replied quietly.
Meredith looks at Ellis, gives her a soft smile, and holds out both of her hands.
Maggie nods and hands over Ellis.
Meredith smiles and says "Come here baby!" and shakes Ellis back and forth.
Maggie looks over and asks, "What time is Amelia coming?"
Meredith starts going up the stairs and shouts, "She isn't coming until later. She has a big surgery today. Could you watch Zola and Bailey?"
Maggie chirps, "sure!"
Meredith picks up Ellis and puts her in the crib and says "I'll be back for you."
Then, Meredith walks into her room and sits on her bed.
She glances at the post-it note sitting on the dresser.
She smiles.
