Everything was dark.
Why is everything dark? Its summer. It should be hot and light. I turned around to realise I was in a bed... not my bed, a hospital bed. As I took in my surroundings I saw a digital clock. It was 11:34 am, so it definitely wasn't night time. Wait...WHAT?! It's 11:34 am , 24/02/18. What happened to 2017?! As i calmed myself down I realised this clock must be wrong. So I decided to get up and take a look around to figure out what I was doing here.
After half an hour of walking around I have realised this was not normal and I was completely freaking out. Where is everyone? What's going on?
It was still dark so I decided to open the curtains, but to my horror saw the most horrendous sight of my life. Complete destruction of all buildings. Roads with giant holes - the size of cars, billboards hanging off broken buildings, shop windows shattered, with the exception of 2, which both had giant holes in (like the roads). Dead bodies pilled up in stacks, oddly spread out across the roads- some even stacked up in shops!
WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON? PLEASE...SOMEONE HELP! I need help. I suddenly realised that maybe the clock was right and it was 2018,which would've meant 7 months had passed. But why can't I remember anything? Why is everything destroyed? And why am I wearing and wristband saying "patient 181, Sophia Smith"?
