The detective-Lucifer

"Detective", the first words I say every morning as I walk into the office of the LAPD office to greet my partner Chloe Decker. We've been working together in an amazing partnership for the past 2 years and I have failed to regret any of it. While I feel the detective understands me better than anyone else in LA there are some things that I wish she never knew, for example, I'm not your average everyday human to walk the streets of LA, for one I own LA's high-end party venue known as LUX I hide a huge secret every day, and that secret is I'm actually the devil.

 Like you know Satan and whatever? Yep, that's me, in the flesh, and believe me its hardly something you go around telling people cause typically they don't take it the right way, trust me. I told her a few years ago and she didn't believe me so I told her to get her gun and shoot me. You would think the bullet would repel me. No, she shot me and I bled and I never understood it, My demon Mazikeen who followed me to earth told me that the detective was causing me to become vulnerable and potentially mortal. So years went by and I became more drawn to her by the minute and still to this current day we are partners and great friends.

Sooooo, back to this current day, yes I walked into the office  and shouted "Good Morning, Detective" and as per any other day she rolled her eyes and smiled, we started talking about our next case before her ex, Dan, otherwise known as detective douche walked into the room to inform us of a new emergency, a murder case that required my services. So Chloe being the good detective she is said we would take on the case. Dan grinned and strutted off. I rolled my eyes and exclaimed "bloody detective douche, honestly!" Chloe laughed and we opened the case file , there was one thing that stood out for  me and hit Chloe pretty hard cause of her former acting days. She sat there in slight fear so I sat down next to her and let her explain it. The person who was murdered was one of her co stars from the  movie she did a few years before our partnership. After the movie that she had done her and her co star were followed around non stop by annoying paparazi who had taken photos of her walking out of her fathers funeral. Chloe stopped for a second to take it all in and she wasnt taking it so well so detective douche came in and suggested that she should go get her daughter and go home. I asked if I should come but Dan snapped "your staying here" so i casually fired "yes sir detective douche" so bottom line I was made to stay and start the basic components of the investigation with Dan.

After a long boring day I went over to see the detective before heading home to LUX. Chloe looked just as upset and mortified as she did this morning and I wanted to cheer her up, so what do I do? well i dragged her to my place and poured her a drink and let her explain her relationship that her and her co-star had during their time making the movie.

She told me that she had always had strong feelings for this man and she was hit pretty hard when she found out that he died. So i vowed to her that I would find the killer and punish him/her as they deserved.
