"Chris, that sounds lovely, shall we meet in the forbidden forest at midnight?" She laughed. I laughed with her until someone bumped me. "You know that's not allowed. Why would you even joke about that?" A deep voice harshly whispered next to me. All laughter and joy left me in that moment. A sudden anger filled my body. I wanted so many things, to punch the person next to me, as well as to scream at them too. I balled my fists up. "Yeah you would know wouldn't you." I shot back, not even giving him the satisfaction of looking him in the eye. He slammed me against the lockers and forced me to look at him then. "You got something to say to me now?" He seethed. His eyes held so much in them. Hurt, betrayal, anger, sadness, and something else I couldn't quite pin point. "Zather get off of him, let him go." Lexie warned him. He didn't even acknowledge her. It only pissed me off more.

Without even thinking I swung and popped him in the jaw. It stunned him enough he let me go, then his head snapped to me and there was a burning fire of rage in them. I didn't dare back down. Not to him, of all people. "You're not better than me golden boy, it's time you stopped acting like it." I spat at him. There was a crowd starting to form around us now but I didn't care. No, he pushed me. "Yeah, at least my pack can count on me. They don't have to worry about being deserted." He challenged and stepped up to me. He had me by a few inches in height now. Guess his birthday finally came. "My pack can always count on me, at least they don't have to worry about me turning my back on them." I seethed, and he swung at me. Of course the training sessions with Draco would pay off and I dodged his punch, he dented my locker thought. I shoved him hard enough his back hit the opposite wall. "You don't even know what happened to me, and you don't even care either. That was the icing on the fucking cake. So don't stand there and spit loyalty at me as if you know what it's all about." I spat. "As if you're any better Christopher!" He roared at me. "I know what happened to you Zather. So don't try to come at me with your bullshit. Get your facts straight before you go accusing anyone of abandonment. Must suck to have a pack leader who jumps to conclusions all the time." I argued, knowing just how to get under his skin. He charged at me and I side stepped him, bringing my elbow down right where his neck and back meet. He hit the floor and coughed.

"Chris let's go, before you accidentally kill him." Lexie said. I nodded and grabbed my things and went to leave. But Zather wouldn't have it. He grabbed my ankle and yanked me down, causing me to hit my chin on the concrete floor. "Don't turn away from me, I'm not finished with you yet." He growled out. I kicked him in the face to shut him up. "What can I say to a deaf person?" I replied, knowing I was just egging him on. All the years of anger and hurt built up inside and I was taking it out on him. He deserved it after all, right? He tackled me onto my back and started landing punches, but I couldn't feel the pain right now, I was angry. I jabbed him in the ribs and punched him in his face again. He fell back onto his knees. I straddled him, and started punching him over and over again until he was spitting blood. "I'm not your pack mate, I don't bow to you, you are not my alpha. I haven't ascended yet and I could kill you right now if I really wanted to." I said when I grabbed his shirt and brought him to me.

I was suddenly yanked off him by a pair of strong arms. "Let's go Chris." I heard Draco's voice say next to my ear. "Lexie, copy down some notes for him today will you? He's too aggressive for school today so I'll take him home." Draco asked over his shoulder as he guided me towards the school doors I walked through not too long ago. He didn't let go of my arm as we walked towards his car, and he didn't ask me about what happened. He was just giving me time to cool off. I wanted to go finish Zather off so badly though, so of course I struggled at first. Until Draco dug his nails into my flesh. "Behave." Was all he said to me before we had reached his car and he opened the door to make me get in. I listened this time. He slid into the driver seat and started the vehicle. He then left the school lot and headed towards the edge of our side of town. The drive over was quiet, there was no music either, and by the time he got to the wooden trail I was a little more calm than I had been earlier. He drove down the slightly warn path a little ways until it opened into a clearing and then he parked the car and shut it off. "Strip." He commanded. I did as told. We shifted into our wolf forms after leaving our clothes in the car.
