“Oh just ignore Cameron, he’s an idiot.” Brian said glaring at him as I turned around.

“No, seriously I’ll hang out with you guys later.”

Brian sighed and glared at Cameron for a moment before leaving, a little frustrated.

I turned around continuing my work.

I heard Cameron sigh. “Fine! You can come with us.” I heard him say. I was so angry with him that I didn’t even think twice before snapping at him.

“I don’t need your permission to go anywhere.”

Instantly I felt guilty about it. Just as I was about to apologize, I saw a smirk pull up on his lips.

I snap at him and he’s smirking?

Donkey!

“Cute.” He said as I gave him my best ‘What-the-hell’ look.

He chuckled.

“You look like a cute kitten when you’re angry.” He said smirking.

I blushed a little at his unexpected comment and laughed uncomfortably. “Did Cameron Ryder just compliment me?” I said turning around and cleaning the kitchen which

“Yeah.” He said. “Now don’t go bragging about it. You’ll be receiving death glares by all my fans.”

I scoffed.

“Get over yourself, Ryder.”

I turned around, not realizing how close he was and banged into his hard chest as he held be by my waist.

“Easy there, kitten.” Don’t tell me this is my new nickname!

I looked up and our eyes locked. I don’t know what it was about them but every time I looked into them, I couldn’t look away. They were just too intense and hypnotizing. We stood there for few moments, doing nothing but looking into each other’s eyes. His hands were still placed on my waist and my hands on his chest.

Suddenly my gaze dropped down to his lips and back to his eyes. He noticed, his lips turned up into a smirk and he raised an eyebrow.

I quickly stepped back and looked down; knowing he had caught me looking at his lips and now, I was beat red. I looked anywhere but him.

He chuckled. “It’s okay to want me Grace. I’m Cameron Ryder after all.”

I sighed. Could his ego get any bigger?

I just ignored him and continued doing my work.

“So you’re coming? Right?” he asked.

“Nope.” I replied popping the p. Even though, I really wanted to go with them; I had enough self respect to not go after he reacted so rudely.

He grabbed my hand, turning me around and pulled me to him. His other hand snaked around my waist pulling me a little closer. Not knowing what to do, I placed my other hand on his arm and looked up at him. Tingles shot through me wherever we touched and my heart was drumming loudly in my chest. Words cannot describe how much I wanted to kiss him right now.

“Grace, please come with us?” he said softly, looking at me intently.

Despite our closeness, his intense gaze and my need to kiss him, I couldn’t help but speak my thoughts.

“Did Cameron Ryder just say please?” I asked playfully, raising an eyebrow.

He narrowed his eyes at me. “Don’t push your luck, Grace.”
