the smoke was overpowering.
all he could think was, this is it.

this is what's left of amy: smoke.

she's gone.
she's gone.
she's gone.

her dad ran out and he thought of
how terrible of a father he was. how
amy had cried over him up in that
tree for hours and only as she died
did he cry for her.

he thought of her smoking in the
bathroom and swinging with tony
and the fact that at one time they
ate pizza together and made
promises of forever.

they got lost; they wandered a bit.
but they could fix it...

they could have fixed it.

soon sirens were heard and he was
pushed to the side, next to her dad,
eyes unable to see anything other
than the smoke, his tears and her
memory.

she's gone.
she's gone.
she's gone.

off in the distance was a girl with
smoke surrounding her as she gazed
at the flames. when they locked eyes
she ran and he was broken.

b r o k e n.

she's gone.
she's gone.
she's gone.

[holy shit this is morbid and depressing and i am terribly
