Beginning of combat practice

Shika: how did you sleep?

Choji: pretty good. I had a dream that I was eating really big barbecue potato chip that was never ending

I fell down at his comment and shook my head. "of course he would have that kind of a dream" I thought and smiled at choji like nothing happened.

Shika: sounds like a pretty cool dream

I rolled my eyes amused at Shikamaru's comment as we passed the gates to the academy where kids were either talking to their friends or getting ready to go to class. I saw Naruto in the middle of a group of boys who looked to be yelling at him.

Mo: ugh why can't they just leave him alone

I dashed off over to help Naruto, my blood boiling and feeling my inner devil starting to thrash about. "no one should be bulling him, he didn't do anything. I'm going to kick some serious ass this morning". My hands balled up into a fists as I saw one of the boys about to punch Naruto.

Boy: you don't belong here freak, why don't you do us all a favor and run away

Right when the boy was going to punch Naruto, I tackled him into the ground.

Mo: why don't you pick on someone your own size, bully

I growled and landed a punch on the boy. The whined and groaned, trying to hit me back.

Boy: what the hell are you doing. GET OFF ME. GET THIS THING OFF ME

I bit his arm and heard him cry in pain before he kicked me in the gut. I flew off of him and landed on my butt, holding my side while glaring at the kid.

Naruto: Moriah, are you ok?

Naruto said while jogging over to me, giving me a worried look. I smiled at him and gave him a peace sign while holding a face full of pain.

Moriah: yea, that didn't even hurt

Naruto: why did you

I looked at naruto with a serious look as he helped me up. He took my right arm over his neck and held my waist to help me stand.

Mo: I'm your best friend Naruto, and friends don't let their friends get hurt. They stick up for them no matter what, even if they get hurt in the process.

Naruto looked some what happy that someone was there for him. Which made me happy that Naruto was able to accept my help.

Boy: I'm not done with you two

We both glared at the boy who was being help up by his friend. The group glared at us, giving us a nasty look on their face.

Naruto: moriah, I didn't do anything wrong

He whispered and pulled me closer to him.

Mo: I know

The boy was about to walk up to us until Iruka-sensei came out, calling everyone to get into their classes. I sighed in relief "for once iruka-sensei, I am glad you're here". Footsteps were quickly walking from behind us and I got ready for some sort of impact, thinking it was a boy that was part of the little group.

Shika: god dammit Moriah, can you go a day without getting into trouble!

I chuckled as Naruto and I turned around to see a very pissed off Shikamaru and winded Choji.

Naruto: its not her fault Shikamaru, Moriah was just protecting me

Shikamaru rolled his eyes annoyed and looked at me side before his eye widen a little.
