"Sawyer Brielle Queen." I reply without a problem, becoming comfortable around Chance wasn't that hard, and that frightened me a lot. You cant get close to anyone! I internally snap at myself while reaching for my own notebook and pen.
"You?" I ask, a Caramel lock of hair falling into his golden brown eyes, he reaches up and brushes it back, sending me a goofy grin in the progress. The grin spreads across his face, causing dimples to appear.
"Chance Bryce Stone." He says, snapping his fingers for a dramatic effect. I roll my eyes and sit here silently, watching him smile to himself while reading over the other questions. I blink and look away, realising that I was openly staring at him.
"Favourite color?" He asks, catching me off guard. I think for a moment, I've never really had a favourite color, well I did; it was purple. I grew up and things like that became in important.
"Grey." I mumble quietly, not even sure he had heard me. I look up at him, locking eyes; I see so many emotions flicker across them, "And y-you?" I add on, not liking the way my stomach was doing small flips.
The rest of the class went on like that, we asked each other the basic questions, every now and then Chance would flash me that charming smile. My eyes gaze up to the clock, ten more minutes of class, so I turn in my seat, watching Chance's smile fade.
I give him a confused look, but then it hit me. The bruise Linda gave me. I was facing the front the whole class so he couldn't see my face. I snap my head back, looking straight ahead. But that doesn't last long since I feel Chance's hand gently on my chin, moving my face towards his.
"What happened?" He whispers, gently running his thumb across the bruise. I close my eyes, the usual numbness that I felt being replaced with something warm, a warmness running through my body that I haven't felt in years.
"I-I, Meryl punches in her s-sleep." I mutter, knowing that him of all people would never believe a lie like that. I pull away slowly, reopening my eyes to see his hand had fallen by his side, a broken look on his face.
He opens his mouth to say something but doesn't get the chance since Mrs. Cross dismissed us early, which I am thankful for. I grab my bag and rush out of the room, heading towards the library as usual.
I sit in my normal spot in the back corner, I hold my camera in my hands and click back, Chance's face appears on the screen, and I cant help but stare at the good looking boy.
His caramel hair is always messy, and I realised that he's one of those guys who can pull off the bed hair look. It suits him. I stare at his eyes the longest, their a dark chocolate brown with flecks of gold in them. My eyes travel down and I notice his lips are a light red, they look so kissable. Shut up Sawyer.

Me: Chance?
I send the text, hoping that the number he had given me isn't a fake. I suck in a breath when my phone buzzes, indicating that I had gotten a text.
Chance: Yes Sawyer Queen?
I roll my eyes at the imbecile, quickly typing back a reply. I think this is the most I've actually used the cell phone I have. The only contacts I have are, Linda's, the kids school and now Chance's.
Me: You want to work on the project after school?
Him: Sure :)
I place my phone down on my desk and look at the clock, only five minutes than I'm out of this hell hole. Today I get off since Frankie called saying he was sick and I had the day off. I'm happy, now I have time to work on this project.
