Wow.... I barely know what a purpose is, but I'm already going through one?! Mom gives me heartfelt look and I think I'm ready to break. "Darling I didn't mean to bring it up all of a sudden, but with everything going on.... I didn't want you to know too late." She says and keeps driving. I just stare out the window and look to see what seems like fields of flowers covered in snow. "So... any questions?" Sh has the nerve to ask me. "Uh yeah. How about: Why did you wait so long to tell me all of this then pile it all on me within, what, 10 hours give or take?" I spat at her, but immediately regret saying it. She looks at me with what looks like tears in her eyes. "Sweetheart I don't want you to grow up to fast. I want you to live a somewhat normal life. Sometimes I just want to get it all out so you won't have to worry about it, but sometimes..." she says and a stray tear finally rolls from her eyes and down her cheek. "Mom, I'm sorry. I know your trying your best. Sometimes it's just..." I stop. "Difficult" we both sat at the same time.
We're silent as we ride into what seems to be the most private subdivision I have ever seen. Each one seems to be more expensive than the other. Until we pull up at a house at the end of the road. It's a beautiful house made out of white brick and circular windows. It looks like it's like 3 stories, and from what I can see, it has a small white patio on the side of the house.
Mom puffed out relieved sigh and smiled at me. "Alrighty then. Let's see it, shall we?"
