Melody and I look at who she had bumped into. She had bumped into a tall cute guy about our age.
Melody turned cherry red and said "Sorry, I wasn't watching were I was going."
He looked at her and replied "No, it was my fault. Hi, my name is Trever. May I ask what your name is."
Melody din't reply.
I giggled at Melody and said "Her name is Melody. My name is Alexandra. Nice to meet you, Trever."
Then, while smiling at Melody, he said "Nice to meet you, Melody."
Then she replies "UM, h-hi Trever, n-nice to meet you too."
Then Trever looks over at me and says "Nice to meet you, UM what is your name again? Oh, wait, nice to meet you Alexandra."
I look at him with slight anger and say "Well, we need to go shopping. Bye Trever! Nice to meet you."
He looks over at me and asked "Well, can I hang out with y'all for a while? My parents aren't going to be able to pick me up for about another thirty minutes."
I look away, grind my teeth a little bit, and said unwillingly "YES, YOU CAN HANG OUT WITH US UNTIL YOUR PARENTS GET BACK!"
He replies with a smile "Awesome, so, where do you want to go, Melody?"
She replies "Any were you want to go?"
I look at her with irritation and said "Well, if you don't mind, I would like to go to Ross."
We started walking and he said "Sure, if it's OK with y'all, can I stop by Game Stop when we are done?"
I look at him and say "Melody has to go there too so, yes, we can go." We walk into Ross and I get the cutest t-shirt ever! Then we head to Game Stop.
When we get to Game Stop, Melody says "I have to get a new controller for my xbox and a new Ultimate Alliance 2."
He looks at her and says "Me too! How funny!"
I look at them and roll my eyes in irritation as they walk away talking about the first Ultimate Alliance. After about twenty minutes, they were done and we started to head for the front door of the mall to see if his parents were here. Melody and Trever payed no attention to me.
Trever's parents were here and before Trever left he said "See you tomorrow at five thirty, right?"
I look at Melody in surprise.
Then Melody replied "Yes, at five thirty. Can't wait!"
He leaves and Melody looks at me and instantly she could see my surprise that she has a date.
She fills the silence by saying "Can you call your brother so that he can take us home?"
I reply "You, out of all people, have a date before me? The shyest girl has a date. WOW! That is just wrong!"
Melody laughs and says "Just call your brother."
After waiting for a little while, Bryan finally picks us up.
He asked "So, how was your day?"
I laughed and replied "Don't ask."
Then Melody said "Well, my day has been going wonderful."
Then Bryan said in amazement "WOW! What's wrong with Melody? From what i heard, she would normally come home dragging her feet from going shopping with you; but, now, it's the total opposite!"
Melody answers "I met some one and Alexandra is jealous."
I replied "I am not! I am mad at him because, he couldn't even remember my name because, he was so, 'O MY GOSH YOU ARE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL GIRL I HAVE EVER MET'! It was so nasty!"
Bryan looks at me and says "Yap, she is jealous; and, wow, Melody getting a date and not you. I say that is definitely not normal."
They both start laughing. I get so mad I wish I could use my powers. We get to the school and go to eat dinner with all the xmen. It was quiet, other than a few xmen talking to each other. After I head to bed, it was a long time before I fell asleep.
I wake up and go train with Jean. I have achieved a higher level skill with my powers. Then I head to my lessons with Ice Man. He is a little cocky, but a good teacher. It is now three thirty so, I head to see Melody. She is in our room looking through her clothes to find something to wear for her date.
She looks at me and said "Alex, can I borrow one of your shirts."
I reply "Sure, I guess. It's not like I have a date today."
Melody looks at me, smiles, and said "Well you have to come with me on my date. Mr. Xavier said."
I look at her and reply "What? Why do I have to go with you?"
She answers "So, I am not taken by Magneto."
Then, I said "OK! However, I won't have a date."
She answers "I am sure one of the cute xmen guys will go with you!"
I then say "Oh, thanks, Melody. You are so thoughtful.".......
