Former member of the famed crime group Trifecta, Nic Lewerke had many bad things happening in his life at age 25. A Princeton graduate, Nic had everything going for him. Offered a broadcasting job for NBC hockey, which he eventually turned down, Nic felt he had more potential than anyone in his graduating class at Princeton. But then, everything changed. His younger brother, mom, and grandfather all died in a car accident just minutes after he turned down the NBC job. So, in order to try to fix his problems, he resided to crime and drugs. He joined the Trifecta, and was absolutely made with the fact that this is all his life had for him. Then, one day, Shaun Raines, the head of the Duke Malone detective agency, found him walking the streets. He took him into his office, and gave him the opportunity to become a detective. And after 4 years with the Trifecta, he knew every scheme they had. But the Trifecta was not an easy group to leave. Before you left the Trifecta, you were either killed, or you went to jail. So, Nic knew it wouldn't be easy, but he would lead a bank heist, intentionally get them arrested, and have Shaun bail him out at the end. At the agency, he met up with an old friend from Princeton, Jasper McCollum, and asked Shaun if they could be partners. And the rest is history.
