Chapter 2: One Year Later

1-YEAR-LATER...........

Voldemort was holding Lexi in his arms. He knew that he would have to leave her soon because of his plan to kill Harry Potter. "You are so pretty Lexi and I love you so much! Please don't think I am lying because I am not. I really truly do love you with all of my heart."

Lucius Malfoy came barging in, "Yes sir? You asked me to come so I could take Lexi and look after her while you are gone?"

"Yes. I want you to take her while I am gone finishing off that bloody little child! May I ask you something Mr. Malfoy? " Lucius looked a little disturbed that Voldemort, The Dark Lord, was being so kind to him.

"Oh, yes of course sir, whatever you want to ask my Lord. I won't mind."

"Next time you come in to take care of Lexi, which I don't think anytime soon, please do NOT come barging in. It makes me think you don't care about my baby girl!"

"Oh, so sorry sir, so sorry....and of course I care about Lexi! She looks just like you in a way and she is the Dark Lord's daughter. It's just that-"

"I don't care about your pity little life! I don't want ANY, and I tell you ANY accuses of why you don't take good care of Lexi! If you don't try or care to take care of Lexi I will hurt you. You understand?" Lucius was quite apprehensive about answering him.

"Of course sir! I will most definitely take good care of her! I promise you that! I will take care of her like she is my own daughter, for the time being."

Lucius wasn't sure why he was the one to take care of the Dark Lord's daughter and not someone else or any of the other death eaters to take care of her. It's not that he didn't like Lexi, he is mostly the one who does everything for Voldemort, which he in fact found flattering but he was sort of tired of doing them all for him. He would most definitely not say that to him because he would end up died in a second.

Lucius looked down at Lexi. At her grayish-blue eyes, to her marveling pale skin, and to her dark hair that was starting to grow longer since the last time he saw her. He knew for a fact that she would end up with all of his looks and she would probably be as charming as he was when he was younger. Lucius even bet that almost all of the boys at Hogwarts would drool over her and would maybe possibly even fight over her. He hoped though that his son, Draco, would not want anything to do with her.

Then Voldemort went and gave Lexi a kiss on her soft forehead, "I will be back for you!"

Lucius gathered Lexi in his arms and watched as The Dark Lord apparatted to find the boy.
