Day One

Hello, Boys and Girls!!!!

Welcome to the Hunger Games!!!
If you have read the first chapters, you should know all of the rules and the basics. And if you took the time to catch up on the first game, you should know how it all works by now. But, there's a catch...

I am changing things up a bit for this game. And that means I now bring to you, MORE DEATHS, MORE ACTION FROM THE CAPITAL, & A SMALL SURPRISE WAITING TO BE DISCOVERED.

Every player steps into the
elevator-like platform, hoping that they come out of this alive. They all say their goodbyes as the platform beneath their feet began to rise. As they reached the ground the players were welcomed by each other's determined and scared faces and the cornucopia filled with many weapons that will assist them in their survival. Who will survive today? Who will survive until the very end? No one knows! Stay tuned every other day to find out the answers to these questions!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Cannon sounds, letting the players know that it was safe to step off of the platform...

AllicornBoss runs towards the cornucopia and grabs a bag filled with a bow and many arrows. She safely escapes the dangers inside of the cornucopia and sprints into the woods.

Joseph takes off after Mia.

Mia manages to outrun Joseph and escapes into the woods.

Crystal runs into the woods unharmed.

chocolatecatgamer177 sprints inside of the cornucopia and grabs an ax and some rope. She continues to look around for other things she will need to survive.

Panda_Unicorn177 sees chocolatecatgamer177 rummaging through crates inside of the cornucopia and takes off after her.

Eric chases Panda_Unicorn and tackles her.

Panda_Unicorn grabs a rock beside her as Eric attempts to strangle her. She manages to hit him very hard on the side of his head and crawls out from beneath him. Panda_Unicorn leaves Eric unconscious. She decides to run into the woods, still gripping the rock in her hand.

Clair sprints into the cornucopia where she is greeted by a face of fear whom belonged to chocolatecatgamer177. Clair decides to offer her hand out as a sign of peace. chocolatecatgamer177 hesitantly takes it. Clair and chocolatecatgamer177 are now in an alliance.

KateKay46 runs into the cornucopia. She quietly sneaks behind Clair and chocolatecatgamer177 who are rummaging through many crates. KateKay46 gets a hold of a small dagger, a net, and some rope. She silently and quickly makes her way out of the cornucopia and into the woods, searching for the perfect spot to place her trap.

Mark chases after Joseph who is making his way to Clair and chocolatecatgamer177. The young girls sprint as fast as they can away from Joseph. Mark manages to tackle Joseph and strangles him to death. Mark looks up to see Clair pointing a large spear towards his forehead. 

Clair thrusts the sharp spear into his skull until he collapses onto the ground.

Sarah runs into the cornucopia and gets a hold of a bag filled with a bow and many arrows. Sarah continues to rummage through the many crates, in search of a dagger.

Caleb runs into the woods unharmed.

Emma silently sneaks past Sarah and finds a small dagger. She sneaks up behind Sarah and slits her throat quickly. Emma then takes Sarah's bow and arrows.

Emily chases Lilly into the woods. Lilly trips on tree root that is sticking up from the ground. She attempts to get up from the mud on the ground, but to her dismay, she is knocked back down into the mud as Emily collapses onto her. Emily lifts Lilly's head up by her hair and drags her on the ground towards the loud sound of rushing water. She then sees the deep rushing water of the river. She continues to drag the twelve year old girl by her hair over to the river as the young girl lets out shrill screams. Emily shoves Lilly's head into the rushing water. Lilly kicks and squirms until she no longer moved. Emily pushes the small girl's body into the water and runs to find shelter before nightfall.

Everyone else has made their way safely into the woods to find shelter. As they lay down to sleep, the anthem can be heard no matter where you are. Four cannon shots can be heard as the pictures of Sarah from District One, Mark from District Three, Lilly from District Five, and Joseph from District Seven appear one after the other. Once the anthem finishes, the rest of the players shut their eyes in attempts to fall asleep.

Apologies for the long wait for Day Two to come out, but I have been a little busy this week and haven't had the time to update this and If The Petals Fall. I WILL upload Day Two by next week. Until then, I hope that you are all doing well and having a wonderful summer!
