'Sir...I don't feel so good... I don't-I don't know what's happening. I don't- save me, save me! I don't wanna go, I don't wanna go... Sir please, please I don't wanna go. I don't wanna go... I'm sorry...' The words echoed in Tony's head.
'I'm sorry kid... I failed you, I'm sorry... It's my fault not yours...' he said quietly, in his hands he held a picture frame. It had a plain, white border, inside it was a picture of Peter. (Picture shown below)

Tony carefully put the picture down, and walked out of his room. Downstairs, he met Natasha and Steve in the kitchen.
He poured himself some coffee, in complete silence.
'How did you sleep?' Natasha asked.
Tony shrugged. He hadn't slept in days, it was noticeable by the dark circles under his eyes. He looked withdrawn.
'Tony...' Steve began, 'I-I know how you're feeling. I-'
Tony quickly whipped around. '-How? How can you possibly know how I'm feeling?' he snapped.
'I-' Tony interrupted him again.
'To have the closest thing you'll ever have to a son, die literally in you arms. To hear him pleading to you to save him, but you can't. The one thing you swore to yourself you would protect, turn to ash in front of your eyes,' he was almost shouting now. 'Don't say you know what it feels like Steve. You lost a friend, I lost a son' he picked up his coffee and stormed off, retreating to his room.
'Tony!' Natasha called, her voice coated in sympathy. She turned to Steve, 'Give him time... he's lost a lot'.
Tony enters his room and set his coffee down, he pushed a button, and swiftly suited up into his Iron Man suit.
'Man I love my nano-tech' he whispered, quietly to himself. He then stepped out on his balcony and took off.
Not even a minute later he was in Queens, at the cemetery. He carefully landed next to a grave with a relatively large marble headstone. On it, an engraved gold plaque which read, 'In Memory of Peter Benjamin Parker. Beloved nephew, friend, hero and son...'
A smaller silver plaque underneath read, 'Honorary member of the Avengers'
There was a glass vase full with what looked like a fresh assortment of flowers. May must've come earlier he thought to himself.
Tony and May would visit his grave every day, sometimes running into each other, although they both new that Peter wasn't there.
Peter had disintegrated on Titan. He wasn't here.
I'll get you back. Tony thought to himself, I'll do whatever it takes... but I'll get you back. You'll come home, I promise you...
Tony gently put down some flowers and hesitantly left.
Tony only thought of one thing on his way back.
It was meant to be Peter's graduation tomorrow. He was such a bright kid, and he never got to graduate... he tried to shake the thought from his mind, but he couldn't.
When he arrived back at the facility he was surprised to see Natasha standing on the balcony, waiting for him.
'Nat?'
'Tony. Look, I'm not going to say 'I know what it feels like' because with 100% honesty I don't. But at least let me help you...'
Tony's nano bots quickly returned to their housing unit, his Arc Reactor.
Tony walked over to the picture of Peter and picked it up.
'He was meant to graduate tomorrow.' Tony quickly wiped a tear and hoped Natasha didn't notice.
'He was the smartest kid I knew... and he never got the chance to graduate'
'We'll get him back Tony, we will. You never know what could happen in 24 hours...'
Tony slowly nodded. 'I-uh-If you don't mind, I'd like some time alone. I'll be down soon'
Natasha nodded, understanding.
Tony sat on the edge of his bed. Natasha's words ringing in his mind.
