Ruined {Niall Horan}

Chapter One

Tonight's the night. A couple days ago Niall drove to Dublin for his X-factor audition. Tonight the whole community gathered at my house to watch the audition. Many pointless faces came across, singing or dancing. I didn't really care, until his face came up. Everyone started cheering, and many shushes went around as he began talking about wanting to make it big. He said many people compared him to Justin Beiber (which I'm pretty sure is a fib) but he looks so excited, I can see it in his eyes. I'm glued to the t.v. And I'm so happy for him. We spent months picking out his audition song, just me and him. It was a moment I would cherish forever. We finally decided on 'So Sick' after much debate. He walked on stage and they asked him his name. There was Simon and Cheryl and Katy, and some other guy no one really cared about. The camera zooms in on many teenage girls faces and their excitement and I can't help but feel a pang of jealousy. But I quickly brush it off. He begins, and a silence washes over the room at home. It's the same angelic sound I've heard so often before. I'm completely hypnotized. That is, until Simon shuts down the music. The whole room is in shock, I don't know what to say. They begin on how young he is and how he's not ready. But I know he is, and he'll be heart broken if he doesn't make it. What's going to happen? They all vote and Simon says yes! The room erupts in cheers! Cheryl says no, and there's some silence. The other man says yes, and you could hear a pin drop in here as we wait for Katy's answer. "Talent is what gets you there, and you have, a seed of it. So, Of course, you're in." Everyone jumps up cheering and screaming. I look and Niall couldn't be any happier. I couldn't be any more proud of my best friend. That is,
