The species is called Rhistes and they look like this:

So basically just humans with horns, wings and furry arms. And they can turn into birds. Um I guess they're kind of like bird fairies of something? They all have patterns somewhere on their body, but they're all light colours. About their horns and wings:

The majority of them have normal wings, but there are other types like elemental wings (fire earth water plants etc.) Crystal wings are the rarest. Females tend to have lighter/ pastel wing colours and males tend to have darker colours. Same goes for horns.
Also the wing type affects the size of their bird transformation, so higher rarity wing types actually tend to be smaller than feathered wing types.
