It's quiet, very quiet. The trees whisper around me, I'm standing on the road in middle of nowhere. The darkness of the night calms my fury. I may have overreacted...running away was stupid. My aunt did everything for me, she took care of me with my parents gone, and I just rub my rudeness in her face. Sigh, let me explain. I'm a high school senior, and this week is my last week before I would go off to college in in Florida, which is on the other side of America. I begged my auntie to let me have a slumber party with my friends. She said no, didn't she understand how important this was to me?!? I got angry and just yelled in her face that I deserved to say goodbye, she locked me in my room. I snuck out the window.
Honestly, I'm so mad but, it's quiet now. The only sounds being made are birds singing in the night. I sink it in, it won't be long till I come running back to my aunt. I sigh and close my eyes. Fresh air. I open my eyes. I should return home now I thought. I turn around and take a couple steps before a huge tremble in the ground knocked me over. What the hell was that? I get back up and was once again knocked down, I fell backwards. The ground began shaking so violently, there was a huge rumbling sound and I started to freak. I tried to get up and run, then I stumbled in the dark, I feel something so heavy hit my back, then my leg. I cried out in pain. The shaking was less than before now, although I felt I wasn't in the same place anymore. It was so dark I couldn't see a damn thing. The air wasn't fresh, it was dusty. I wince as my leg stings, then everything went black. Everything, was once again quiet.
