Chapter 5

Morgans POV

"Spencer?" I said in shock. How the hell did he find me? I tried to close the door on him but he moved to where it wouldn't shut.

"Morgan how could you do this?" he asks me

"Are you serious? Your the one that cheated on me with my best friend! Don't you dare blame any of this on me!" 

"You didn't even let us explain what happened. Instead you ran away from your problem."

"Oh I'm sorry that my mom got a new job here and I had to move. I didn't chose for this to happen." I tell him. "and also I would love to hear your side of the story of why you cheated on me"

"Madison and I were drunk and-" I cut him off

"Seriously? That's your excuse. Because you guys were drunk. If you could remember what happened then you wern't that drunk. That's the worst excuse anyone could ever make. You. Are. Pathetic. Get out now" I say to him. All of a sudden he grabs me and shoves me into the wall. I wince in pain.

"You'll regret this Morgan. This isn't the last time you will see me" he lets go of me and walks out the door. I collapse to the ground in tears. 

Matthews POV

I can't believe what I just saw. Who was that guy that just hurt Morgan? I need to help her. I run out the door and ran to her house. I opened the door without knocking and I see her on the ground. She quickly stands up and I pull her in for a hug. She starts to sob into my shoulder and her tears are starting to get my shirt wet, but I don't care. When she calms down we pull away from each other.

"Morgan who was that guy?" I  ask her

"It was my ex from Cali"

"Why did he yell at you? Why did he hurt you? Why did he-"

"Matthew I don't know. I'm asking myself the same questions. But I'm just too exhausted to answer all of the questions right now. I'll talk to you tomorrow, okay?"

"Okay Morgan. Just be careful. If you need anything you know where I am"

"Thank you Matthew" she gives me a weak smile. We hug again and I walk back across the street. I walk straight to my room and fall onto my bed and fall asleep.

Morgans POV

The next morning I wake up and get ready. I never told my mom about what happened yesterday. If I did she would have freaked out and call S.W.A.T. or something like that. She can be very overprotective at times. My mom is home today so she offered to take me to school. My brother ended up staying at a friends house last night since it was too late to drive home. As we drive down the street I see Matthew walking on the sidewalk. I tell my mom to pull up next to him.

"Hey Matthew do you need a ride to school?" I ask him

"Oh no it's okay I can walk"

"Matt get in the car. I'm not gonna let you walk all the way to school"

"okay if you insist" he says and hops into the back of the car. "by the way. since when did you start calling me Matt?"

"Since now!"  I laugh and  go back there with him and we talk about the most random things until we pull up to the school.

"Thanks for the ride mom"

"Yeah thank you for the ride Mrs. Smith" Matthew thanks her

"Not a problem! And please call me Rebekah" she says to him. We both get out of the car and make our way to the the doors. He runs up and hold the door for me. I thank him and we make our way to class.

Matthews POV

Throughout the period Morgan and I talked, but we didn't once talk about what happened yesterday night. I thought about it but it didn't seem like the right time to talk about it. So I decided to wait until lunch to ask her, but she still didn't want to talk about it yet. She gave me her number and told me that she would text me when to come over and sjhe'll tell me. So I guessI'll have to wait.
