"Oh God, I know that look."

Cordelia turned to look at her girlfriend. "What? Who?"

Charlotte cocked her head in the direction of their friend. There, right beside the couple, sat Trina, clutching unto her fork and looking like she was about to explode. Cordelia and her lover followed her eyes to see what caused such a look, holding back a laugh when they saw the reason. Marvin and Whizzer were eating a few tables away from the three, chuckling with each other every now and then. Trina was disgusted.

The fork broke. It was metal.

"Trina," A hint if laughter teased Cordelia's tone. "I think you need to calm down."

"Calm down? What do you mean calm down? I'm perfectly fine, you see, really, I'm all good. Nothing to worry about. I'm not angry. Nope. Not at all."

Cordelia pursed her lips to stop herself from giggling as she threw an arm around Trina's shoulders. Charlotte shook her head with a smirk tugging at her lips. "Whatever you say, Trin."

The eldest of the three didn't know why she was so irked at the sight of her ex and his new lover. No, she wasn't jealous. At least, that's what she told herself. Maybe it was just infuriating to see Marvin look at someone the same way he used to look at her. Or maybe it was just because Whizzer was everything Marvin wanted but Trina couldn't be.

Without another word, she left the table with her lunch tray in hand, her eyes still locked on the two men. This was a wrong choice on her part because her lack of concentration as she walked caused her to bump into someone and drop her tray.

"Great." She mumbled, picking up the tray and grabbing the scattered contents of it. The person who bumped into her helped in cleaning up the mess.

"Sorry. I wasn't watching where I was going." The man shook his head, dropping the utensils on the tray. "Did I hurt you? I really apologize, oh God—"

"No, no, it's okay, um..."

"Mendel. Uh, hi."

"Trina." She shook the hand he offered. "Thanks for the help."

Before she could walk away, Mendel let out a small screech. This startled Trina into stopping.

"I'm sorry, uh, it's just... I've never seen you around. What's your major?"

"Culinary Arts. You?"

"Pre-med."

"That's cool." Trina mustered up a small smile, nodding at the nice man before leaving. She caught sight of Whizzer and Marvin locking lips, much to her dismay, and the churning feeling her stomach told her one thing: she needed to get revenge. The two weren't going to just happily ride into the sunset after breaking her heart. Not on Trina's watch.

Trina reviewed the plan to Jeremy and Michael one more time before hiding near the target area. She knew that taking revenge wasn't the right thing to do, but the anger got the best of her and so she laid out a plan for the two boys to pursue (with payment, of course). She simply got them to make a couple of water balloons to splash unto Whizzer and Marvin when they passed by. She would felt guilty doing it herself, and the thought of someone else doing it eased that feeling, so she decided to go with that. All she had to do is signal them.

They were all ready and set up, waiting for the perfect moment. The timing was right too, since the couple was slowly making their way to the edge of the building, right at the target area. Trina locked eyes with Michael and started counting down as she watched Marvin and his lover come closer.
