Prologue

Warmth filled the air along with all the different scents of the forest. The sunlight shone trough the big and broad trees. A sleek grey she-cat holding a small black and white kit between her teeth was trying to get  another little grey kit to walk. The She-cat  reached the Thunderpath and ran across with one kit and then dropped it on the other side then ran back and got the other kit. Now she was running towards WindClan territory. She found some fox dung and put some on the kits to hide their scent. The she-cat ran to the WindClan camp border with the kits. While she was waiting she started to suckle the two kits. Finally a broad Tom-cat came out of the camp. He was white and black and looked like the first small kit. "StoneFur are you ok, did something happen during the kitting?" asked the Tom-cat. "I'm better then ok ,..... you have two beautiful daughters " StoneFur turned around and pushed the little kits to the Tom-cat. "One of them looks just like you LongStripe" she looked at the white and black kit. "I'm so happy, I know they will be fine ThunderClan warriors" he said proudly trying to hide his disappointment that his own kits wouldn't be in his Clan. "About that I don't think it's a good idea for them to be with me" she said sadly . "Why, I mean I would be very happy if they where with me but they need their mother more than their father" he began " Who will suckle them and who will take care of them" he looked at StoneFur and she had started to cry. "They are not welcome in ThunderClan, please don't make it more painful then it already is " Stone Fur whispered as she started to press her slim body against his , "I put some Fox dung on them to hide their scent ,tell the Clan that you found them crying in front of the camp." She told him ," Quick, we don't want thinking your taking too long" she said as she turned around about to run. "Wait, I just wanted to say I love you" LongStripe told her at that moment StoneFur turned around "I love you too " she replied.
